Oh my. It pains me to speak poorly of a local establishment that has been here many years. But…oh my. I didn’t experience poor service although that seems to be a trend in the reviews here. Staff was perfectly friendly and the wait was longer than expected but they politely explained the hot dog took a bit longer. No problem. But this food is barely edible. I got the ranch burger without their special sauce, which they described as mayo with sweet relish. Didn’t sound appetizing to me (but I know others may like it, so, throwing that out there). However, no amount of any sauce would make this burger better. The patty was paper thin surrounded by about 4 inches of stale, slightly sweet bread. Husband got the one with bacon, which he described as “hard and old tasting”. The cheese is American cheese I guess? Which is fine? But it comes with just a whisper of lettuce and chopped onions (if requested). I think there may have been pickles but honestly the only thing I could really taste was the bread and cheese. And that’s after removing chunks off of both the top and bottom buns in the hope of tasting some burger meat in each bite. Since we ate it at home, I slathered it in spicy mustard. But, like I said, that didn’t save it. The fries taste like, and probably are, grocery store frozen fries.
Look, I’m not a foodie. I came in with low expectations. I’ve eaten lots of burgers in lots of places. This is among, if not the, worst.
The cost is high but on par with most prepared food costs in this area. Seriously though, even if you have never cooked in your life, buy some hamburger meat and buns at QFC and make it at home. It will be better and cheaper.

The Food and Ice Cream here are very good! The atmosphere is a fun Cowboy/Ranch theme. The employees are very friendly and gave us good service. My only complaint would be that there prices are very high for fast food. But overall my family and I had a wonderful experience and a delicious dinner here! It brought back a lot of fun childhood memories from the 80’s and 90’s! It hasn’t changed a bit!

We were really excited to try this spot after seeing how busy it was and reading so many positive reviews. The staff were nice, and the vibe of the place was great—fun location and a nice setup.
Unfortunately, the food we ordered came out quite overcooked. The onion rings, fries, bacon, and even the burger patties all had a burnt flavor that was hard to overlook. It was a bit of a letdown, especially given how much we were looking forward to it.
That said, the hospitality and atmosphere still left a good impression, and we’re open to giving it another shot—hopefully just a one-off kitchen hiccup.

It’s an old-school drive-in, great for lunch and weekends, but the drive-in portion is closed during their winter hours. They also have booths inside…maybe 10?
I had the double ranch burger with extra pickles, and fries. Both, were perfect! Burger was juicy and flavorful and the fries…yum! Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside piping hot, and wonderfully salty.
You won’t walk away from this meal hungry, I guarantee it.

We came in around 5pm, prices are pretty expensive for what it is. 2 burgers, 2 fries and 2 shakes shouldn’t be $45+
Took around 15+ minutes to get our food.
I asked for cheese, didn’t get it.
There was also a dispute in the lobby between 2 men that wasn’t stopped.
Just overall mediocre, I really don’t understand the hype.

Controversial… Best burger place around. Leagues above burgermaster and shake shack. They feel like they’re imitating RDI. Best burger! Best shake! Best onion rings!

I’ve come to Ranch Drive-In a couple times. Each time I’m shocked at how good the Ranch Burger is. I love a good burger . I’ve had many great burgers. In the state of Washington the Ranch Burger is definitely a go to. Customer service is great as well! Awesome staff! As long as you beat the rush of lunch hour you should also get your food fairly quickly depending on what you order. I highly recommend!

A staple in my family’s burger life. But our last visit reminded me of the old lady from the Wendys commercials. “Wherea the beef?????” 1/4” patty. Come on guys. If I could post a picture of the shoe insert I would have. I will continue to dine there but it needs to change.

Waited 4 minutes for someone to take my order no one was in front of me. When the lady finally greeted me to take my order. I started with saying this is going to be to go I asked for a bacon burger with cheese plain. She then asked me is this going to be for here or to go and I said to go I asked her to repeat the order she repeated it back correctly.
I waited for about 15 minutes to receive it. When I got home I ended up throwing the burger away because it had everything on it- tomato lettuce mayonnaise pickles ketchup. When I called to talk to them about it they did not answer. I’ve lived in Bothell for 50 years I rarely go there because this happens pretty much every time I go.the order is wrong or I have to wait a long time!! I will not go again. I will not give them any more of my money for food I have to throw away.
