I couldn’t wait to leave a bad review for this restaurant. The lamb curry was as bland as water, completely flavorless. The naan was even worse — it tasted like leftovers from several days ago, totally not fresh. Still, I finished my meal because I wanted to see if they could make a fresh batch of naan. Unfortunately, the new naan was just as bad — it tasted reheated, probably from old leftovers, and it was even burnt. I’m really disappointed. If you can’t even ensure basic food quality, how did you get all these good reviews?

Great little restaurant. Nice goat curry which now not every buffet has. Great Chai also. Very nice options here all the way around. I’d go again!

Stopped by and had their buffet.
They had many options for it like biryani, regular rice, bhature, naan, chole (chickpea), dal (lentil), palak (spinach), tandoori chicken, butter chicken, and much much more! And the food was pretty good! Could use maybe more spice for my own liking but I get that they’re trying to serve a wider audience. Still authentic flavors imo. And the chai was nice and piping hot, like I like it!
The bathroom was also fairly clean and the service people were nice. I’d definitely try to come here again if I’m in the area!

I came racing in at 2:49pm (they close at 3). No problem! Extensive buffet – lots of options including malai kofta, fish pakora, gulab jamun & quite an assortment of chutneys (including spicy onion)!!
The food is mild – esp when compared to other indian restaurants.
The sign says they do a dinner buffet too! THAT’S hard to find!

After a long day of hiking, we craved for indian food. This place must be closest to King’s Beach, around 20 minutes drive.
The food was delicious. We ordered goan chicken curry, dal tadka, bhindi masala and garlic naans. The curries came with jeera rice on the side. The food portions were just right.
The staff was kind and helpful but there was long wait time after ordering food.
There is free parking on site.

Naan were great, and the kadhai paneer was delicious, though it had more bell peppers than paneer. chai was watery and bland
The service was quite slow—even just to place an order.

Mehfil Indian Restaurant is a good spot for authentic Indian food. The all-you-can-eat buffet offers a great variety, including Butter Chicken, Goat Curry, and vegetarian dishes; all fresh and flavorful. Highlights include the Mango Ice Cream and Chai Tea. The restaurant is clean, with two restrooms and plenty of free parking. Great food and value!

We’ve eaten here several times, so figured I should write a review. It is our favorite Indian food spot in Roseville. Not sure how much that means when you compare to the big cities that have many options and varieties of different culture’s foods, but in my opinion, all the dishes we’ve tried have been really good.
I’m a fan of lamb korma and Mehfil’s is really good. The lamb is always tender and the flavor is really good. This past visit we also had the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. Both had really good flavor, but the chicken was a little tough, maybe overcooked a little? We also got an order of paneer which was great.
All in all, another good meal here, which is why we keep coming back.

Delicious Indian cuisine! If you ask “not spicy “, they’ll make it not spicy at all! 🙂 I love tandoori chicken and hot chai! They serve delicious lamb and goat, with no weird taste as in some other places. Homemade Naan with yogurt-like dipping sauce has a unique taste. Very friendly staff.
