TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

My kids have been bugging me to go to yet another chicken joint they heard about on tiktok.
And guess what?!? This one is worth it!! I ordered lite-mild flavor and the dry rub was flavorful with a touch of sweet and spicy. The chicken was juicy and real. I love the sauce, AND they have my favorite – crinkle cut fries, which were crispy with a touch of the dry rub. Inside had a fun vibe, they were busy with every seat taken. Definitely worth the drive and will come back!

I would just like say, Dylan was incredibly nice while taking me n my boyfriend’s order. And what i’m assuming was the manager in a red shirt, im not sure, but shw gave us extra sauce and even some honey. i’m not a big fan of honey though so i didn’t try it. But the thought we definitely there!! it’s great to see people with amazing customer service!! The food was AMAZING!!! I got the #1, which is 2 tenders and fries with bread, pickles and their delicious faves sauce!! the sauce was so good too. If you love mild foods and crispy chicken.. dave’s hot chicken is the way to go!! the place also looks so cool. all the graffiti on the walls and especially the ceiling, here’s a photo of some of my favorite drawings on the walls! it’s beautiful!!

Not normally one for spicy foods, but I got the top loaded buffalo Mac, medium spice, and drizzled on honey and Dave’s sauce, and it was very good. Tons of flavor, the mac wasn’t overcooked, and the crinkle fries held up great plus there were a lot of them
If it wasn’t for the fact that I didn’t eat anything today, also I’m fat, the regular size (at this time $10.99) would have been 2 meals.

Dave’s Hot Chicken is definitely one of my go to locations for a great meal. I frequent this location all the time. Their burgers and fries are always top knotch. The manager (I suspect she is the owner as well) is a very nice woman who clearly takes pride in her work. She creates a warm and welcoming environment and ensures her guests are provided for. Tonight, when she asked how my meal was, I told her it was excellent and that I “really love the fries”. Without hesitation, she brought me a second set of fries in a to-go box and said “it’s a gift”. Now that is great customer service. I would highly recommend this location.

First time at any Dave’s Chicken…clean/nice and bright overall, all staff said hello and shared their name within thanking us for coming…our order was to go, had a sandwich and strip to sample, love the fries, overall we enjoyed the meal. I liked the sticker on the take-out box indicating what was in the meal (no sauce, hot mild, etc…) before opening up everything – nice touch. We will be back again

I ordered online, our first time eating this chicken, and I am glad that i erroneously ordered the lite- mild instead of the reaper. And we also ordered medium, hot and extra hot. Medium was as hot as i want to ever get again! I can’t imagine how hot the reaper is … The hot was too hot for me. My husband enjoyed the hot and extra hot, but he too said no reaper for him. We also got the fries, a chocolate milkshake and a Mac n cheese. The milkshake was amazing. Loved that our meal also came with a bread slice and pickles with each piece of chicken. We will return! Thoroughly enjoyed our meals! Staff was really nice, and the restaurant was very clean!

Honestly delicious chicken. I went safe with the medium heat and it was good but next time I will up it a bit. The sliders are a really good size, and eatting just one was plenty big enough. They came with coleslaw, pickles and sauce. The flavor was super good and made fresh. I ordered online and picked up inside which definitely saved some time. This location does have a drive through as well which is helpful if you can’t walk inside. Service was decent overall

I have eaten here for the past 3 days lol! It’s so good, and love the medium heat level. I tried the hot level, and it got me going! I love their ranch, and today just tried the reaper ranch. So good. I prefer their regular fries over cheese fries.
Everytime I have went everything was correct, had all of sauces expect for today they did forget my honey, but since they remembered it in my past orders I already had extras left over! When I ordered today they had the food ready and it was hot and fresh!
The inside was clean and loved their decor.

Hot chicken with flavor! I love hot chicken, especially Nashville style. So many chicken joints are just boring fried chicken with no soul. Dave’s really delivers, I was extremely impressed with the food.
