Came in for lunch on a Thursday as we had a coupon for $2 off EACH entree. Good coupon and a good reason to give them a try. Unfortunately, there was an overwhelming smell of either cleaner or paint when we enteredand sat down. We asked our server about the smell but she was unaware. Anyway, we stayed, were sat at a nice booth by the bar and ordered our food. I ordered a San Diego Philly ($15.99) since our server said she was “currently obsessed ” by this hoagie. It came with one side so I chose the onion rings. The onion rings were thin with a thin breading. Quite good but the Phillywas a bit on the small size. The Mrs ordered the Chicken Salad Croissant and side Soup ($13.99) and good size sandwich and a piping hot New England Clam Chowder. Good food for the money, with the coupon, but no need to rush back.

Cajun pasta has real heat and real garlic. And the chicken piccata? Tender, bright, not drowning in sauce. Outside seating means you can watch your bike while you charge. Solid spot. Five stars.

I ordered the the blackened chicken sandwich. I did not get a blackened chicken sandwich. I believe it was probably a grilled chicken sandwich. The avocado on top was visibly rotten. The lettuce in my friend’s croissant sandwich was old and wilted. Her croissant was not fresh. She didn’t even finish half of her sandwich. Her grandson had french toast and bacon and it was a smash for him. He loved it. Would not return. I did ask my server about the Cajun chicken. He took a look at it said I think that’s blackened chicken. It definitely was not blackened chicken. But he did bring me some fresh avocado. When he saw the rotten pieces that were on my sandwich. The manager came out to apologize about the avocado.

We recently had a large dinner party on their patio with 40 people. I was so impressed with the service and with all of our food! The manager Chris went above and beyond for us to make sure our night was special. Our food was fresh and delicious and all reasonably priced. Our service was outstanding. I highly recommend San Diego Grill for lunch, dinner, or your next special occasion!

What a great place! The food is so delicious, my family went two days in a row! Several healthy and fresh options at moderate prices, and the service and atmosphere is awesome! It is a smaller restaurant, but can accommodate large parties. I saw 10 people eating at the table adjacent to ours. It has a San Diego beachy vibe, and I enjoyed their black beans and rice and a Cuban the first day. My father had their citrus salmon which he found to be perfect. We are picky people and this is a wonderful place for foodies with several selections. Loved it and will come back when in town. Thanks to Chris, Beth, and Ashley for taking such good care of us.

Walking into this place was truly amazing. They greeted me the moment I stepped in and sat me down right away—no waiting, no hassle. Not only did they open the door for me when I arrived, but they even did it again on my way out, which really made the service feel next-level.
The food was incredible-flavorful, fulfilling, and worth every bite. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience feel warm and welcoming.
I’m from out of town, so having an experience this great meant a lot. Overall, an absolutely amazing visit. Highly recommend!

We went for the Monday fajita special and I was a little disappointed- had chips and salsa for an appetizer (would have liked it be spicer)
Server did offer to get hot sauce. They had a huge menu which looked really good. We had the fajitas and they just didn’t have much seasoning on them- they weren’t bad, just a little bland. Service was great and everyone was friendly, the fajitas could have had a little more flavor

We had the best server he was great. Was always on top of all our requests. I got the turkey dinner which was really good part of the turkey was hard around the edges but it was still really good The mashed potatoes and gravy was great and the cornbread stuffing was really good. We got nachos and queso is what’s on the menu but it was orange cheese look more like nacho cheese than queso. Chips were great they were fresh. Great place to have lunch I would recommend if in the area of Port Orange Florida

We had our dog with us and decided to have lunch here because they have outdoor seating. There weren’t any vegetarian options on the menu, but the server was very accommodating and said that they could modify many of the dishes to be vegetarian. Our recommendation would be to have a separate vegetarian section on the menu to make it easier for vegetarians to see the options. Other than that the food was pretty good and we like the outdoor atmosphere.
