My husband and I visited her Saturday night. They were able to get us in last minute on a hibachi table. My husband was asked if he had any allergies which he does to shellfish. The woman explained that they would need to cook his food, outback, and that unfortunately it would not come with noodles although he really would’ve liked the noodles we understood the waitress was not very friendly and very matter of fact, however, I do understand that they were busy when the cook came out he had the wrong orders so it took a while for him to get that under control prior to the cook coming out, we were given salad in soup. They did not have any more silverware so I had a plastic spoon to use for the soup. I have been to many hibachi’s, and our cook was the least friendly cook in entertainer I have ever had the rice noodles and vegetables were OK not very favorable in the steak was most definitely the driest steak without flavor that I have ever had. My husband‘s food was brought out 20 minutes before the chef came over to cook our food again we could deal however it was cold, so we sent it back. The waitress apologized and said that she would watch to ensure that she brought it right out as soon as it was ready after the cook was done, and everybody had their food. My husband had to track the waitress down to ask where his food was to which she explained she was so sorry at that point instead of getting another cold plate he said he would just take a check instead it took forever to get our check in two hours. Surprise his food was removed, but nothing else was offered. It’s not often. We are able to go out to dinner and when we do, it would be important for us to eat together. I certainly had a few bites of my food but felt bad that he didn’t have any so I took mine to go. I just feel like they could have offered to take off the appetizer or provide some sort of discount or coupon for next visit. In fact, our check was dropped off face down in front of us without any communication and she simply walked away. We will never waste our time or money at this establishment again.

Great food, great service, and ridiculous entertainment by the “chef”… I’d rather pay a bit more so he doesn’t sing, yell or do very strange sounds. If this is Japanese traditional hibachi restaurant, I would expect a bit more then Mexican cook singing “Hasta La Vista”…

Terrible experience from start to finish. I have never had a worse time at a hibachi. Server rushed everything even though it was dead. He got everything wrong, including telling me the lobster option was “FRESH Maine lobster.” It was absolutely not Maine or fresh. Drinks and apps came out after entrees were well underway. My appetizer was completely wrong dish, didn’t receive correct one until I fully had my entrees. He never checked on us or apologized for anything. He seemed more like a food runner than a server but maybe they’re understaffed. Never ever going back to this location.

I am absolutely pleased with this place. It is a perfect location for enjoying sushi and hibachi. When the one in Bangor was temporarily closed, we decided to give this place a try, and it certainly did not disappoint.

I took my 19 year old granddaughter in for lunch. The Food was excellent, and I mean excellent and the Service was good. We both were disgusted by the music that was being played. It was some sexually explicit rap music that should only be played in a night club or strip bar. Yes I’m a grandfather but not a prude, this music was disgusting and I believe was playing from one of the employees Spotify apps over the speaker system.

Made a reservation for 9 for a regular table but only 7 showed up. Arrived on time and were seated at a hibachi table. No big deal other than we couldn’t hold a conversation. Food was great, waitress was fine, chef was fine, although we didn’t get a “show” like any of the other guests (no volcano, etc.) Got the bill but while eating dessert, the hostess came to us and said “we’re starting to get crowded up front soooo” then she walked away. Added a slight damper to the end of the meal. Oh well.

The service here tonight was the worst I have ever experienced. The waitress never brought over a drink menu. When I did see it she stood there waiting for me to order my drink, rushing me. She never brought any straws. She spilled a drink on another patron sitting at the same table, with no offer to wipe it up or to replenish the napkins. The family sitting across from us had to ask 3 times for the sushi menu. Their food came way after our hibachi food. Once delivered they then had to ask for chopsticks. We had to ask for to go boxes multiple times. Not sure if she heard us, or just ignored us. She finally brought them over after both parties sat there for 25mins not touching their food. Again, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at Kobe.

Waiter was STONED!
We had a reservation for the hibachi grill for my bachelorette party tonight. It was absolutely packed with people waiting when we got there. They said it would be about a 20 minute wait which turned into well over an hour. We were finally taken to a back room area where other people who had gone in long before us hadnt been served yet. It was so cold in there that we were wearing our winter coats. The last straw was when the waiter was STONED, we left and went to the restaurant next door. The bar tender there told us that he had watched ICE drag 7 employees out of Kobe’s three days ago.
DON’T GO to Kobe’s!
