This was our first visit with my daughters. We each tried a different chicken dish, and we also ordered Takoyaki as a starter. The Takoyaki was lightly smoky and beautifully presented. The crispiness of the chicken was fantastic, and the flavor was just as great. However, the curry dish had a very strong curry sauce and taste, which the children didn’t enjoy very much. We would go again, and I think we would only order the chicken breast katsu and chicken thigh katsu.

Amazing place for Tonkatsu, donburi, and more. The dishes have options from chicken, pork, shrimp, and even tell you whether the meat is lean or fatty for the dish depending your selection.
Do note though, the menu did not mention that they put scallions or green onions on top. Which is fine if you dont have an allergy. However, I do! It is my fault for not asking, though i didnt think too. BUT the staff did go out of there way to correct it and remake the dish sans scallions and onions.
It was a great experience, and delicious to dine at.
Again just make sure you notify them of any allergies you may have to prevent delay in deliciousness.
Husband had pork katsu curry.
I had the chicken karaage donburi! Both were melt in your mouth delicious with very tender juicy meat.

The Pork Katsu was not a premium cut. Some part was a bit chewy. Chicken Katsu was good, but wasn’t drained of excess oil. Fish Katsu was tender and juicy, as good as McDonald’s fish burger. The worst part is the cabbage salad. It tasted bitter.

The food was great! We loved every dish. The premium ribeye tonkatsu was definitely worth the money and paired well with the cabbage salad and miso soup. Their sauces were really good and you should also try it with their matcha salt! Appetizers were great as well.

We came here because we wanted an experience to take us back to Japan and this place came close! We ordered Tonkatsu Curry with Omelet and the Chicken Breast Katsu Combo with daikon radish and curry. The katsu was perfectly breaded and lightly fried. The tastes were exceptional. Presentation was beautiful. The curry tasted just like Japan. Rice was perfectly cooked, slightly rice. The combo came with sauces and pickles, a pleasant surprise. The dressing on the cabbage salad was a bit tangier than expected and there was more ponzu on the daikom than expected, but all were still yummy.

Place is perfect. We had 3 different items off the menu: Chicken Donburi, Chicken Breast Katsu and Chicken Breast Curry Katsu. All fabulous! The shopping center in Johns Creek is very nice and the whole ambiance of the restaurant is great. Our server was attentive and very nice and the chef came out and delivered our meals to us. This place is definitely top notch. I love it.

The food was disappointing. I was super excited to try this restaurant out. I got the mentai cheese sticks and chicken thigh katsu don . It came with cabbage salad and miso soup. I did not like the cheese sticks. It kinda made me nauseous after taking a bite. I was hoping the chicken katsu to be crispy, but it was oily and almost soggy. The eggs and rice were decent. I’ll maybe give it another go and try other dishes.

This place was recommended by a friend, and it did not disappoint. I got the premium Tonkatsu and it was so perfectly prepared. The meat was hot, and the breading was golden and crunchy. The soup, the potato croquettes… EVERYTHING was amazing! I will definitely come back again 🙂

If you’re craving comfort food with real craft behind it, this Japanese tonkatsu spot hits the sweet spot. The moment you walk in, the place has that cozy-minimalist vibe that Japanese restaurants do so well… warm lighting, clean lines, and the soft hum of conversation in the background. It already sets the tone for a good meal.
Food
The tonkatsu is the star here, no question. The pork cutlet comes out golden and crisp on the outside but tender on the inside. You get that perfect crunch-then-juicy bite that tells you they know exactly what they’re doing in the kitchen. The sides — shredded cabbage, rice, miso soup — are simple but exactly right. And if you tried any of the sauces, each one brings a slightly different punch.
Service
Jasmine was a standout. She’s one of those servers who pays attention without hovering. Drinks stayed filled, food came out right on time, and she checked in just enough to make sure everything was perfect. What made the difference was her attitude: warm, upbeat, and genuinely welcoming. She made the whole meal feel easy and relaxed, which is what you want when you’re out to enjoy good food.
Ambiance
Relaxed, clean, and comfortable — ideal for a casual dinner, a date night, or just satisfying a good tonkatsu craving. Noise level stays reasonable even when the restaurant is busy.
Overall
Great food, great vibes, and service that actually makes you want to come back. If you’re looking for high-quality Japanese comfort food, this place deserves a spot on your list.

Came on a random Tuesday for lunch and it wasn’t busy at all, maybe 3 other parties. We were greeted & sat down by our server pretty quickly. Ordered the chicken thigh katsu don and tonkatsu curry. From order to food to table took no longer than 10 minutes. Both were delicious and very tasty. Flavor was there and not salty at all. Portion size was a big enough to fill me up & take half to go for another meal later. I would come back to eat here if I’m in the area.
