Cute little place with decent food. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. My only complaints would be that the food was good but not great. The other issue was the amount of chips for both free and gauc was very small. It was comically small portion in both cases.

I’m from the Boston area and every time I visit a friend in Lancaster, I go here (multiple times). The food is amazing, reasonably priced, and clearly freshly made. The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful. Highly recommended if you’re in this area

The best authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had in lancaster. We had the Chimichanga, Enciladas, and tamales. Everything was EXCELLENT. we got the red and green sauce on the side to see what we liked. We preferred the green sauce that had more flavor. Service was nice. Will definitely be back.

There’s a surplus of mediocre “Mexican” cuisine in southcentral PA, but Chilangos stands way above. The shop is just the right size to be cozy and inviting, the staff are genuinely friendly, and prices reasonable for the excellent quality food. Speaking of – the food was amazing, not the heavy, bland stuff that may pass as Mexican food elsewhere but rather well seasoned, fresh, lacking the dried out meats that many places have. In particular, the chicken fajitas and chicken huarache were amazing. If you’re at the hotel, parking is a cinch; if not, there’s plenty street parking. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic. Last thing I expected when visiting family in small town PA was such amazing and authentic Mexican food. Just as good as all the local spots in Scottsdale/Phoenix AZ. If you are ever within 50 miles of this restaurant take a detour and have lunch. The owner is the chef and his wife was our server they were both amazing and make sure to greet everyone personally table side. All the food we had was fresh and made in house. The entire experience is one we will be repeating again and soon!!

The atmosphere is really nice is really colorful. They play Hispanic music is really nice like the Hispanic music that you’ll hear at Spanish parties and then when you get seated next to the window it’s pretty view.
now THE FOODDD. The food was honestly the best Mexican food I’ve ever tasted in restaurants. I ordered quesabirra tacos and it came with some sauce. When you dip it in the sauce and put it in your mouth with some lime, it was the best thing I have ever tasted. I went with a friend so we shared and he got a torta (i think tbh i forgot) and that was also good and has avocado in it. me personally,I hate avocado but in this case, it was so good it really brings the flavors out. We also got one more thing, but I think it was chilaquillas. It was a huge portion. We both could not finish it, but it was also very good for dessert. We got churros, it had whipped cream in it. And inside the churros they had I’m not even sure I think it was chocolate and that you dip it in the whipped cream. It was so good. I got flan and it also came with whipped cream and it was really good right amount of sweet and softness.
and then service.. IT WAS AMAZING we had to wait around 10 to 15 minutes but that’s OK because it was a park around. We walked around there, then we came back. after that we were seated and not even 10 minutes later we already got some of our food. It was really fast came out super fast. The waitress was very nice.
The price for all of that was around $67 and it was definitely worth it. We tipped 22% if I am not mistaken. And we EAT, we can eat. so because we’re fat when it comes to food it came out to be $67 but def good prices
