Ordered online. When I got there they hadn’t made 1 of the 2 meals I ordered. Had to wait while other part of the order just sat there. When I got home,the chicken I was waiting on was completely overcooked and un edible being dried out and hard as a rock. Other part of the order was stale and cold. Not a good experience at all. That being said,the food here is normally not this way. I don’t know if something changed or if it was a bad night but they shouldn’t be overcooking something your waiting for and they should have re made the part that had been ready far too long.

So grateful for the absolutely wonderful woman that helped us. She clearly loves food as much as I do! The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. I am so glad I bought extra red beans and rice because it was SO GOOD! Grateful for some hearty food and a friendly chat on the go.

We’ve ordered here on several occasions, and their food has always been fantastic. I just always request fresh, which usually isn’t a problem, considering they do a good business. Their chicken, and fried fish are both fabulous. As are the potato wedges, and cracklings. The honey butter biscuits aren’t my favorite, but they’re certainly not bad, either. Just not my preference. Same as the Texas Roadhouse cinnamon butter. The service has always been great, and both the prices, and food. I’ll never again eat nasty KFC, when we have this great option, even if it is a drive across town for us.

The food here is amazing! The chicken is always cooked exceptionally well with the present, but not overpowering, seasoning and, of course, the crispy skin. I also love the honey butter biscuits! It does not cost very much even to feed my whole family and the kids are happy to eat it too. The food is ready very quickly and even for large orders they are very fast! More people should be ordering from here!

They do customer service right. This is a gas station that makes fried chicken. I would expect mediocrity. However, the employees here are exceptional. I am always greeted by the cashier when I walk through the door. The employees who take and fulfill the food orders are friendly and helpful. The chicken is better than KFC, Krogers, and even Cracker Barrel, in my opinion. Once in awhile it will be a little less hot due to sitting in the warmer. However that doesn’t happen often for us. Work environment/culture matters and someone (or group of someones) in this particular station has contributed to an environment that lends to exceptionally kind, helpful, and friendly service employees. Thank you all for being an encouragement to me on the not so great days!

This place has really gone downhill. I paid $40 for a family meal that’s supposed to include a 12 pc mix, 6 tenders, 6 biscuits, and wedges. I added an order of mashed potatoes that tasted like SOAP for 2.99. There were ZERO chicken breast included in my order…the breast are the very reason I order the mix! I was also shorted 2 chicken fingers!! That is not ok when I drive across town to pick this order up to feed my family and get home and realize the order isn’t right/missing food! And why should I tip employees that don’t make sure my order is correct/complete? I would suggest removing the tip button from the form customers fill out when placing and order. Tips stands for: To Insure Proper Service.

Initially skeptical, but now I am a believer! I decided to get chicken here based on the positive reviews. When I arrived I realized the restaurant is inside a gas station — what? Too late to turn back, I ordered a large family combo dinner with extra sides of rice & beans and mac & cheese. Simply put, everything was AMAZING, DELICIOUS! The fried chicken was juicy, tender, with a perfect infusion of spice. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
