Gilbert is amazing! I don’t even want to tell y’all how fire this place is. They will just get so busy and have a week waiting list to eat. I was just in PR in Sept and this food was it. I’ll be taking this 30 minute drive regularly! They need to take over this whole plaza because they already need the space. Oh, and the juice! We bought a half gallon to-go!!

Me and my girl have been searching for a few Puerto Rican restaurants over the last few years out this way. We went to a different one last week and one of the customers said the food here was not good….. Let me tell ya something …. They were so wrong. Not only was it good , it hit my soul because man!!!!!! We absolutely love it and will be back . It’s family owned and the whole family was amazing. Son is very active and I had to give him his props. We will be trying a bit of everything on this menu. Thank you .

6/19/25 I live in Jacksonville,FL and i came over here in the area to visit so i decided to take a peek at this Puerto Rican Restaurant 🙂 It is really hard to find a good Puerto Rican Restaurant around here in Dallas – Mckinney Texas Area. However i believe This place is worth it!!! Everything was clean, and neat, staff was really nice. I Ordered a Pernil con White Rice with Beans n Salad n etc it was pretty good!!! the pernil was juicy, crispy, and with the garlic it gave it a slamming kick!!! i got to try a sample of cube steak and it was really good!!! i really like this place and i will definitely come again 🙂 hopefully one day this store can expand to more location in the future :D! Much love from Jacksonville, FL!

Wanted to say I got to know this place from a friend who is Puerto Rican. I wanted to say superb service from Gilbert. He is friendly and personable and made incredible recommendations of what to order. I got mondongo with carne frita and cuajito. Also, I really loved the sauces that came with the food. I would recommend this place to others that want to try Puerto Rican food.

First time experience here , my significant other and I came on a Friday night around 6pm, upon entering the restaurant is clean and up-kept , very family oriented and so warm welcoming. They captivate the beauty of Puerto Rico ❤️ our waiter Gilbert represented the best hospitality interaction, he made us feel like we were at home‼️We started off with their fresh juice (10/10)it had passion fruit/mango/ tamarind(had to take one home)- the tostones (10/10) they were fresh and hot we ate them with salt and their homemade hot sauce it also came with a creamy yummy sauce , it is a nice touch . For our entrees i had the Mofongo w/ caldo de pollo it was amazing the flavor and seasoning was on point (10/10) the chicken was falling off the bone . We also got the Bistec Encebollando , (10/10). Gilbert was amazing and accommodated us per certain foods we couldnt eat (pork) . We would def be back in the future to try more dishes and their dessert!!
