Normally don’t leave too many fast food reviews, but after seeing so many bad ones here, wanted to share my positive experiences. I always place my order on the app, walk over, grab it at the counter and leave. Never an issue. The orders are correct, the staff approaches soon as they see me. Food quality is fine as well. The restaurant itself, I probably wouldn’t dine in honestly. Not the warmest vibes and often there are homeless hanging out. In the winter months, it’s understandable. Not complaining, just wouldn’t eat in. Apparently most feel the same way, because it’s pretty rare I observe any dine-in customers. Can say the same thing about most fast food places these days to be fair.

I do think a lot of people could do themselves a favor and take advantage of the app to improve their experience. Just my opinion. You save a LOT of money as well.

My husband and I visited with the grandkids for our littles bday for a quick lunch. We were greeted by an employee by the name of Ray (Rae?). She was an ABSOLUTE delight!! She was so kind and sweet, especially to our grandkids. Ray was attentive when we were ordering because we were ALL over the place lol. Anyway, she just went above and beyond and was so welcoming! The food was hot and the order was correct! It was such a pleasant change! Stop in and say hello to Ray! She’s honestly such a sweetheart!!

They don’t even deserve 1 star with the service and FOOD. I was given. I ordered a $5 meal, hot and spicy mcchicken (PlAIN and WELL DONE, which always do on acct they NEVER give me fresh food). I get up to the window and even ask them to make sure it’s both plain and well done. A few minutes go by and I’m handed my food only to pull out and see that my nuggets are soggy and literally smushed and my mcchicken is so only it’s floppy and the inside is even discolored from sitting. Not to mention my fried were cold AND I’ve call 10 times and they won’t answer. Bad service and terrible food. I will be coming back later tn and speaking with a manger. Pictures are attached of the discoloration and the literal mushy texture chicken.

Placed order online for pick up at counter, when arrived doors were all locked. No way to pick up the order and no way to cancel. So I’ve literally been stolen from. When I call the store, the employee said the reason the doors are locked it because the store is flooded with sewage and I can get my order through the drive-thru. Why are you still serving food out of sewage?!?!?! Can’t get a refund because no management is present. To sum up. On Feb. 8, 2026 the highlands McDonald’s is serving food while standing in sewage with no certified food manager present. Do with that what you may. I guess I’m glad I’m only out $8 and not my health.

Went through the drive thru and got a burger, two orders of fries, and a drink. We were told to pull up and wait for our order. After over 10 minutes of people pulling around us as we waited, an employee came out, blew a vape cloud onto our order, then gave it to us. We asked if they had mayo packets, and she said “I don’t know, wanna come in and see?” Then went back inside. I wish I could have gone in to see, but the door locked behind her. Order was correct at least.

Found a hair on the fries in my Happy Meal! I first thought it was a break in the fry, but when I touched it, saw that it was actually a hair! Needless to say, I didn’t eat ANYTHING in the box. This location is horrible in general, for many reasons (from rude staff, various inconsistencies to constantly being out of items needed to make the dairy products). The regional or district manager really, really needs to visit this location more often because the McDonald’s standard is definitely not being adhered to. I usually go to a location further away because this location is so bad.

⭐️ One Star – Do Not Go Late at Night

I do not recommend coming to this McDonald’s late at night. This happened last night, December 4th at 1:18 AM. My son was placing an order with me on the phone during the interaction. From the beginning, the young lady was rude and unprofessional. Before even taking his order, she told him she couldn’t take it for another 15 minutes because they needed to go on break. My son was polite the entire time.

When he asked for a medium McFlurry, she rudely told him they only come in small or large, which isn’t even accurate. Her tone was very nasty and unnecessary. Again, my son remained respectful throughout the entire interaction.

The McFlurries were actually for his basketball team, and because of her terrible attitude and the way she handled the order, I even told my son they probably shouldn’t eat them. Her energy and behavior made me genuinely uncomfortable about how the food was handled.

My son didn’t even want me to leave this review, but the level of customer service was completely unacceptable. The interaction gave off very uncomfortable, almost discriminatory vibes, because there was absolutely no reason for her to treat him that way unless she simply did not want to do her job.

This experience was disappointing, unprofessional, and concerning. If this is how customers are treated late at night, management and corporate really need to step in and address it.

I went to McDonald’s recently for a quick bite and it was pretty average. I ordered a Big Mac meal and while the fries were hot and crispy, the burger felt a bit thrown together and wasn’t as fresh as I expected. The drive-thru was fairly quick, but the staff didn’t seem very engaged or friendly. It got the job done for a fast meal, but nothing really stood out. It’s reliable for convenience, but the overall experience could have been better.

I’ve been going to this McDonald’s probably since 2007 or maybe earlier and they always make my nuggets so crispy and the food is always warm and everybody there is super nice and I know I can always rely on them to make me a really good hash brown
