First time trying this place. Wanted some fried fish in the area I was working and found them. I ordered the fried fish basket and 6 chicken wings triple threat. The fish was well seasoned and just perfect crispy. The fries were not crispy more soggy. The wings were cooked perfect but was way to much garlic. I had to throw half away because I couldn’t take the taste anymore. It needed more Cajun season. The placed smelled so good when walking in I couldn’t wait too taste my food. The server lady was nice and friendly. Food was done when stated. I don’t like you had to pay a fee to place an order online and you can’t call to place a pickup. I would definitely come back but get just Cajun wings and make sure my fries are fresh.

My fiance and I dined here for my birthday dinner and it was INCREDIBLE! our two servers Will and I believe Syed (I apologize if incorrect) were so amazing and took care of us! They were a great example of GREAT customer service. The food was delicious and the garlic sauce was the perfect flavor!

We will definitely be back!!

Always gotta be leery of Midwestern seafood, but the Mad Crab brings it. We got crab legs with crawfish, mussels, and shrimp with the whole shebang season and mild spice. It was amazing. The sausage was actually the best part.

They may direct you away from the mild spice if you do the whole shebang seasoning. Don’t worry, if you like spicy at all, you can handle it. Next time we will do medium spice for a little more kick.

We visited on a Thursday night and the place was two thirds empty. Service was really good. Recommend this to locals and visitors alike.

2024 Update
Went in recently for the first time in a long time. Last time was pre-pandemic. We didn’t have a great culinary experience. The service was really good and friendly. The steamer seafood was overcooked and rubbery. Hoping we just caught them on a bad night and not the new normal.

First time here. The food was extremely good. They put all your food in a bag for the table to share. They give you plastic gloves to eat with and they personally put a bib on you. In our bag was crab legs, sausage, shrimp, mussels, corn on cob, potatoes all in a very good Cajun seasoned spicy sauce. Delish… the service was really good. Alexis was very attentive and patient with us. The place is hard to find because from the outside it does not look like a restaurant. But aside from that – great place to relax and enjoy good southern seafood.

I first tried this place when it first opened and it was great. This second time around I was very disappointed. First of all wherever I eat the entire establishment should be well kept, including the bathrooms which were absolutely disgusting. In regards to the food there was just something very unfulfilling about it. I didn’t finish my food. I didn’t even eat a quarter of it because of the taste. The butter trio helped but the seafood was not as fresh as expected. A waste of $80 worth of food. Check it out yourself. You be the judge.

Great family restaurant in an up and coming part of town. Heads up: MEDIUM HOT is still SUPER HOT. Go easy unless you like spicy food! Yes it’s a little expensive but the memories and experiences are fenominal – a fun time with some average food

Ordered a pick up order online. I was notified it was ready for pick up. I get to the restaurant and the man tells me 10 more minutes. I go to explain to him the notification I received. He goes to the register pad, taps the screen and I immediately get an order update on my phone. The man looks at me like he’s justified. What was the purpose of me ordering online to come in and sit an additional 15min for an online order. I finally get my order and there’s no fries with the fried oysters. The man tells me so sorry no fries with order. Why picture it on the order menu if thats not what you’re going to serve???!…$15.34 for what NEVER AGAIN MAD CRAB!!!!!!

I liked this experience very well. We got gloves and an plastic cloth to cover ourselves while eating the shrimp. Our server was nice and the order was well prepared on fair wait time. If you don’t do well with garlic don’t ask for it, it was very strong for me.

What looks like a rustic warehouse turned out to be a delicious night of seafood living you too it’s name. The walls are scrawled with the memories of past diners–every wall! Including the restrooms. When you are seated they treat of a strip of butcher paper too cover your table. Randy ordered the boil, in which you select three types of shellfish. You get a pound of each at market price + a couple of half corn on the cobs + a few red potatoes + a couple of links of spicy sausage. These are well seasoned and brought to you piping hot in their bag with a bucket to put the scraps in. Honestly scrumptious!! I got a shrimp basket and couldn’t begin to finish it. Excellent service!!
