Walked in a busy Saturday, so the noise level was loud we could barely speak. The people making our lunch to the cashiers were very polite and actually smiling. They were very polite. The food was hot and YUMMY! The burrito was pretty big it was difficult for me to finish it, but it was definitely worth it.

Would you want to pay $15 for lettuce? Supposed to have the corn salsa, red tomatillo salsa, and where the heck is the steak? When you order a burrito bowl shouldn’t the bowl be full? Never eating at the Chipotle in Waxahachie ever again. I don’t normally leave reviews but this is BS.

Idk I usually don’t rate anything bad cause I also work in customer service. But my order was wrong and weird. There was I think random melted blobs of cheese..? And for some reason a lot of onions that I didn’t put in my order. And the chicken tasted awful and it was a weird texture..? Idk dude it’s the first time something bad happened to me at a chipotle here in waxahachie

Paid for double honey chicken; received less than a normal portion. I received barely any white rice; the bowl was the lightest ever! Ridiculous! Take out is not good. My husband’s brown rice was hard crunchy. The corn salsa tasted like butter. Please prepare better quality meals especially with the higher prices too.
Bad Friday night takeout. Not good to waste money in this economy.

I love chipotle. Food is good, and ingredients are fresh. The only reason this review isn’t 5 stars is because at my last trip to this location, the portion sizes were MUCH smaller than normal (at other chipotle’s).
It had the feeling of intentionality too. Like “the manager wants to make sure our portions are light.” I don’t know if I imagined that, but I had to ask for “extra” rice, beans, corn, and cheese. When the employee did add “extra” it was the tiniest little pinch, and even after all that, the bowl was noticeably less full than when I usually order at other locations (without asking for “extra” anything). Even the cup of guacamole, he pressed the spoon down at the end and it left a big divot of air at the top (as well as the bottom where he didn’t fill it in).
Fix your portions – your prices are already higher than they used to be – and I’d give 5 stars. The food was very tasty!

I’m not sure which employee thought this was good food quality to be served and sold to a customer. If I’m paying 5 dollars for guac, I would expect something fresh. Please don’t take shortcuts, folks could get sick by consuming bad food.

I came today 08/09/25 to eat at this place. I ordered my chicken bowl. I was walking in line as they were preparing it. I asked her to please serve me more rice and she served me a pittance (it was the smallest bowl I’ve ever eaten). “I thought maybe she buys the food and that’s why she’s so stingy.” Just before I was about to pay, I told the lady in the photo to please make me a quesadilla and she in a very, very rude voice told me not to make it because I should “go back to the line.” Why? I haven’t even paid for the food I just ordered? And on top of that, I was already in line, so that’s why she was serving me. In other words, it was my turn to order whatever I wanted! There are definitely employees who do whatever they want and forget that the customers come to spend their money, not to ask for free! And it’s because of us, the customers, that a restaurant succeeds or fails, like this restaurant, for example. Try not to come here because the service is terrible!

It can be hit or miss on food freshness and quality. Lots of times the meat seems dried out and not kept properly heated. Same for rice. I also saw them take old rice and put it on the new rice pot which is a food safety no-no. I also prefer to order onsite because my pickup orders are usually not as good. I think they seem understaffed frequently and are too busy with pickup orders. Could use more staff and tighter food management.

I went to this location because the DeSoto location was closed. I was so annoyed that the young lady was literally SPRAYING the cleaner next to the containers of food as well as on the glass covers. She even had the nerve to tell us to back away from the counter so she could spray the outside glass as she walked in front of the customers. A couple of customers mentioned that we thought this was unsanitary but she did not seem to care. She was damn near rude and young and appeared to not care.
