Today I ordered thru the drive thru a quarter pounder no cheese with lettuce, tomato and onion and I must say it was the best burger I ever had at McDonalds. It was hot and very tasty. The workers are very pleasant with your order.

Most of the time I come here, there’s always an issue. My order is often wrong, and when I ask to fix it, the staff acts like it’s my fault. Today my cheeseburger had an unusually thick bun, and all I could taste was bread. When I ask for something removed, they just pick it off instead of remaking it, and you can still see things like onions left behind. Mistakes happen, but this keeps happening. With the attitude they give, it honestly makes you wonder what they might do to the food after.

It was the worst I’ve ever had. The food was soggy, greasy, made that person sick. The chicken was old and burnt. Thr fries were dried out. Nothing was fresh. We went through the drive through and the kid didn’t even know what he was doing.

We go here at least 2 times a month so it would be ridiculous for me to give less than 5 stars. Food is always hot and if not, we have complained about fries not being hot but they always complied and gave us hot fries. We have never gotten food poisoning either. I have the app so I usually get a free sandwich while my husband & son get the meals and I’ll just share my husband’s fries & Coke. I also started to get dog the free sandwiches too from the app. Where can you get meals for 3 people and a dog for $24? Jersey Mike’s costs $38 for two sandwiches. Freshido & Greystone cost $110.
We usually get drive thru & go drive to Ft Hunter park to look at river & trains. People need to look at water view once in a while for mental health.
I have spent thousands at this McDonald’s since 2018. We are going to move back to Virginia and this restaurant /Ft Hunter Park have been our happy place in Harrisburg for the last 7 years esp on beautiful sunny days. We are millionaires but no matter we always eat at McDonald’s. Thank you!

Ok I work in retail, so I have a lot of respect for any retail or food service worker and do not like leaving negative reviews. I also get it’s Christmas Eve so it’s a stressful day for all involved. But I order lunch for my partner who is working in Harrisburg for pick up, and whoever was at the counter (he didn’t get her name unfortunately) argued with him about it not being paid even tho the order screen shot with the code and everything said paid. When he brought this up to her she turned around and cancelled it to be petty which I have a screenshot of. So I re-did it while she talked a bunch of shit in front of other customers about the whole thing. Again I get it’s a stressful day but the way she acted wasn’t warranted. Grow up and learn how to talk to people and save the shit talking for when it’s actually warranted. ♀️

Had a burger fries and drink. Ordered using the internet kiosk. My food came quick and was very good. There is a nice walking path directly across the street to work off lunch and a historic fort site about 1 mile down the road.

Ordered extra eggs. After waiting 10 minutes, got hotcakes which I didn’t want and single eggs. Second time in two months

Delicious chicken nuggets and the Big Mac. The interior is cosy and spacious. The staff is nice and friendly, too.

First off I will say that the store looked fairly clean. That’s about the only compliment I can give. I ordered a mccrispy meal at around 4pm and I had to wait 10 minutes for my food while 4 people that ordered after me got their food. The lady that took my order just said “you just gotta wait” like I wasn’t already doing that. When I got my food, the chicken on my sandwich was burnt to a crisp, i wouldn’t even call it edible. When I went back in to say something the service person just walked away.

Breakfast was meh, but the server was great.
What struck me, though, was the dining room design. There is an amazing view of the river and the stone railroad bridge built in 1902. There is also a very nice high table with 8 stools. Which would be great if they had put the table in front of a window instead of facing a blank wall. For $0 investment, they could have easily made the dining room more pleasant.
