I have been a regular customer at this Chipotle on US-1 for years, and unfortunately, the quality of the restaurant has declined significantly. The place was noticeably dirty, and the restroom was in unacceptable condition—no paper towels and overall very poorly maintained.
When ordering, there were barely any staff members available, and the attitude from the team was challenging. Several items prominently listed on the menu were not available. There were no napkins, and overall you can immediately tell the store has deteriorated considerably.
It’s disappointing to see this decline from such a large, publicly traded company. Based on my recent experience, I will not be considering returning to this location. Chipotle has lost a lot of value in terms of quality and customer experience.
Last time, we clearly asked them if they had it available and they said yes. My boyfriend started building his bowl, and the moment they reached fajita veggies, the container was empty. When we asked them to refill it, they said they didn’t have any – we found that odd. They said it would take them 20 mins to get them ready. We waited to get them but the 20 min wait was naturally a lot – they didn’t particularly add a lot of the veggies to the bowl after all this.
The staff is not very friendly. I needed help with redeeming a discount and a staff member literally made a dirty face and sighed and said “I can’t do this”, and then another staff member came and helped out.
The place is also always dirty. They don’t ever clean their tables. Food is good but mostly because chipotle always tastes good.
*Update: I went in on Friday, 11/7, and to my surprise, the line was moving quickly and efficiently. It’s like someone stepped in to get things running smoother! There’s another Hispanic woman with tattoos who seems fairly new, and she was really nice – honestly, she feels like the only genuinely friendly one there. Unfortunately, everyone else still looks like they hate their job. But the goof is good, so I keep coming back but also in hopes it gets better.
Extremely disappointing customer service at this Chipotle.
The staff consistently come off as unfriendly and uninterested in helping customers. There’s a pattern here – they don’t acknowledge you until they feel like it, and the energy feels like they’d rather be anywhere else.
One example: a Black woman at the front had me standing there awkwardly while she looked directly at me and said nothing. Only after slowly putting on her gloves – at her own pace – did she finally say “hello,” like it was an inconvenience. And she’s not the only one with this attitude, just the one I’ve encountered most often.
Another time, a big Hispanic woman rushed me to order “uh-huh and what else?”, only to realize herself they didn’t have anymore white rice there. Like calm it down ma’am.

It honestly feels like this location hires anyone who’s simply willing to show up – regardless of whether they have a basic understanding of customer service or a good attitude. The general manager really needs to step in and get this place together, because right now, the staff’s energy and lack of professionalism are driving customers away.
This is supposed to be a family friendly restaurant, and his behavior is absolutely disgusting. I have never witnessed such unprofessional conduct in any food establishment.
This isn’t a one time issue, it happens almost every time I’m here, but seems to be escalating since now he is cursing. The staff seems hardworking, but the environment he creates is disrespectful and unacceptable. I hope upper management addresses this immediately, because I genuinely like this location, but the manager’s repeated behavior needs serious attention. The atmosphere when he is not on shift is completely different.
