My family and I have been going to Uncle G’s for nearly 15 years, and we absolutely love it. When our kids were little, we went several times a week; now that they’re older, we still make it a weekly tradition. In all those years, we’ve never had anything but a 10/10 experience.
Every employee is friendly, patient, and well-trained, and the owner, Rachel, is one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. She has literally watched our youngest son grow up and has always gone out of her way to make him smile. When he was a toddler and obsessed with superheroes, he used to ask for a “Captain America” or “Flash” sundae — even though those weren’t on the menu. Rachel and her team always made something special just for him, and he would leave grinning from ear to ear.
Uncle G’s isn’t just an ice cream shop — it’s a part of our family’s summer memories. The quality, the service, and the heart behind this business are what make it truly special. As another season comes to a close, we just want to say thank you to Rachel and her team for always making our summers a little sweeter. We can’t wait to be back next year! ❤️

I love that they have baby sized sundaes. Lots of flavors of hard ice cream & delicious custard, and pup cups with a big patio. The staff are always very friendly and helpful.

My recent visit to Uncle G’s Ice Cream was an absolute treat! Not only was the food incredibly picture-worthy, but each bite was also a delight, especially the burgers. These were not just delicious; they were crafted from exceptionally fresh ingredients and vegetables, elevating every mouthful. The ‘bang sauce’ on the burger was truly out of this world, adding an explosion of flavor that I’ve never experienced before. Additionally, the Chicken n’ Pickles sandwich was simply to die for, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The convenience of its location right on the Pendleton bike path makes Uncle G’s a fantastic spot that we plan to visit time and time again. A five-star experience all around!

Was just there and my wife ordered a artic swirl/blizzard type drink with twist ice cream and heath bar. She received it with Reese’s pieces. She didn’t want that as she does not like peanut butter. We asked the clerk to please make the correct one and she flat out refused. Now considering it may cost a buck or so to make another, it bothered me a lot that she refused to make good on the order. We have been there many times in the past without issues. But this clerk was rude, pissy and wouldn’t even hear about. She just said we ordered this so take it. We used to come there, chitchat with the owner, who was extremely nice, but boy you made a mistake with this hire. Not only that, you lost us as a customer so for the two or three dollars, your little clerk could’ve made Good on The order you just lost hundreds over the next year. Terrible service.

I recd your answer, and if I was able to reach you, I would’ve done that, but the same girl waiting on us told us you weren’t there and offered us no information of how to reach you. When we asked to remake the order correctly, she flat out, refused and said she can’t afford to waste Ice Cream, how are you wasting Ice Cream and keeping a long time customer happy, we weren’t out to steal your product, we just wanted what we ordered plain and simple. And just to clarify, this is not just one misunderstanding, I would not stop coming to your place, if that was the case. but this was not a misunderstanding. This was flat out refusal to make what we ordered, and she was rude and extremely inconsiderate. Short term, employee or long-term employee sometimes it’s just time for them to move on. Even Other customers standing behind my wife indicated that my wife wasn’t getting what she ordered.

I love this place! Great service, Perry’s Ice Cream, generous servings and reasonable prices. You get a lot for your money here! Ten minutes away from home and you are in the country! One drawback. They never have Perry’s Death By Chocolate!! The young lady at the window said that people do ask for it. I ask for it when I go there, just in case. Some day they might get some. Hopefully. Please! They get a Michelin Star from me when they get Death by Chocolate! ⭐️

We love uncle gs, great gluten free options for cones both regular and sugar cookie. They have oat milk alternatives. Perry’s ice cream is labeled what gluten free. Conveniently on the empire bike path. They have pup cups but are not gluten free.

I just had the coffeeiest coffee shake I have ever had. Normally this is made with custard and real coffee but I asked them to replace the custard with French Roast hard ice cream and it was multiple times better than shakes with coffee mixing syrup. Since real coffee is used you also get flavorful coffee after tastes and a little kick of caffeine. I’m definitely coming back later to try out the inside menu since they now have a kitchen.
