Excellent pastry place at Prior Lake! Love all their pastries but the coffee was just decent. I tried their bestseller cinnamon rolls but still prefer the cheese danish.

I visited here 2 weeks ago with another gal for a lovely happy hour. The atmosphere is warm and inviting especially after dark. We arrived around 5pm but it filled up pretty quickly. We enjoyed a couple glasses of wine and one of their boards. There was also many desserts and pastries available in the front case but we will filled up on the board. It would probably serve 3-4 people as it was way too much for 2 of us.

I recently visited Edelweiss Bakery, located in the heart of Prior Lake, a brilliant blend of a bakery, cafe, and wine bar. With a wide range of offerings, from coffees to pastries, sandwiches, desserts, and an enticing selection of wines and small plates, Edelweiss Bakery stands out as a unique spot in the local food scene.

As a local real estate brokerage, we are so pleased to have Edelweiss Bakery and Wine Bar nearby! They are known for great donuts and pastries, but you have to try the granola mix – amazing! A kind and helpful staff, lovely atmosphere and packed with locals who line the downtown waiting to get their prized choice!

They’re no Patisserie 46 but, imo, they can definately hold their own which is saying a lot. The quaint atmosphere and welcoming vibes make this the perfect spot for a quick sugar and caffeine fix any time of the day. I did not try their lunch sandwiches and their breakfast sandwiches were alright but their danishes and almond croissants were perfectly flaky, tasty, and hit the spot. Their opera cakes were also perfectly balanced. With an enticing selection of other desserts and donuts, it is surely worth the stop.

I gave 3 stars for the food and the atmosphere/location only! The rest sucks balls! I never leave online reviews unless the experience is enough to piss me off. Some of the girls that work there are rude. There’s no better way to describe them. Asked for extra icing she shook her head and wrinkled her nose, “no that’s how they come sorry” in a way as if I asked to borrow money or something. Just seemed annoyed I asked for the extra icing. Then I asked if I could have a certain bakery item because the others were burnt and she gave me a look like I flirted with her dad and stole her boyfriend. She was annoyed for sure. But I’m there for the food not the 20 something making min wage with an attitude. ‍♀️

First time. Order breakfast sandwich. Was very good. However, the person that took my order seemed annoyed that she had to wait on me. Did not explain that the bottled water was in a cooler nor that the cutlery and napkins are across the restaurant. Not a big deal but maybe another way to greet a customer would be to explain these things when ordering a stay in order. Would definitely come back. Maybe she was just having a bad day.

Edelweiss Bakery in Prior Lake is my favorite early morning meeting spot. Their caramel rolls are terrific but I usually have a breakfast sandwich! They have great staff and a warm and inviting new decor!

Such a cute local spot! Staff is very kind and friendly. However, I wouldn’t recommend going on a Friday or Saturday morning as it is PACKED and the line is usually out the door. Love that there are allergy friendly options (GF, LF)
