Had an amazing lunch here with the family while on our vacation to Honolulu, Hawaii. This is the spot, the Chilli hit like it was homemade! Everything was delicious and well portioned, couldn’t have asked for anything better. 10/10 will ne back when I’m back on the island.

Food is a 5 but the bakery side needs to keep the inventory fresh to many times I bought flaky doughnuts and they were really old.. and now that you pay almost 5$ they can at least keep it fresh..and if they keep it up nobody will buy their baked goods not for that price..don’t get me wrong our company will still eat here just the bakery is sub par… Aloha

I love the retro vibe in the sit-down section. The food (all-day breakfast omelette) must have been good as I forgot to take a photo.
My partner enjoyed the vegetarian chili.

A great place for great food any time of day! Business has a kitchen and a bakery. My wife and I had a free day while visiting family in Kailua. We both had a Moco Loco which was fabulous and generous. Eggs cooked to perfection and a tasty gravy. After we were done, we couldn’t resist bring home a pastry for later. A very nice experience!

Food is very good for the price and they have alot of different options to choose from. I personally go here for the oxtail soup but I did try alot of other different dishes.

Been going here forever now like 16 years or so, love zippys good food and affordable, never really have issues just order eat and continue the day, my wife and I started going when we started dating in 2008 and kinda just kept going off and on for all this time since. Even when we come home to visit from the mainland we still go Kailua zippys atleast once.

Huge menu with a variety of Hawaiian infused Asian and some spin off of some American Classics. Something for everyone and reasonably priced

Thoroughly mediocre and overrated, and this is coming from a local. $11 priced platters with $8 worth of food and $6 quality. Not sure why this is the most popular fast food place in Hawaii when even L&L is better. The whole meal me and friends were talking about how we wish we went to Teddy’s, California Pizza Kitchen or Wholefoods instead. At least we would have gotten our nearly $40’s worth.

Bottom line, go elsewhere. Anywhere else. Just look at this sad shoyu chicken. My friend said she’d think it’s a soup if anyone else ordered it.
