It was my first time ordering and I’d say it was worst.
Ordered Veg biriyani and Peas Pulao both were just white rice mixed with veggies and masala, I could see lumps of just white rice which was absolutely not eatable.
It’s an humble request please don’t accept orders if you don’t have them available. Or at least have some courtesy to reach out and ask if the customer needs replacement. Just don’t serve crap in the name of food.
You misunderstood.. no area biriyani’s are made with brown rice. And Biryani doesn’t mean you just mix rice with some masala.

I’m on vacation, it’s my first time in this city, it’s also the first time I go to an Indian restaurant in my life, and what a pleasant surprise! I must confess that I had put it off because I have seen so many crazy things on social media that I was so prejudiced. However, I was surprised by this place.
1. The attention is very remarkable; the waiters were very kind, attentive and friendly.
2. The place is very comfortable, neat, clean.
3. The food is exquisite (yes, with a lot of spices, so if it is not your thing, consider going. I love them) you can feel in every bite the freshness of the ingredients, the seasoning of the chef and the abundance in each of their dishes.
4. The prices are in line, accessible and fair.
I really felt very good in this nice place.
I could tell that they are doing very well because during the time I was there they did not stop receiving delivery or take away orders. I’m looking forward to coming back another time. I am a vegetarian, so I leave some of the dishes I tasted.

We went here as a family to try the brunch as the reviews were good stating there are a lot of vegetarian dishes. Having good expectations we went to dine in but the buffet didn’t live up to the expectations as the options were. The service staff is polite yet slow, in vegetarian starters its just fritters or pakoras. The curries tastes similar to each other as if the base gravy is same. The dessert section was a no-go. They were cold and overly sweet. The gulab jamuns were very chewy which made them unpalatable.
The highlights of the buffet were the fruit bar and the garlic naan which was fresh and warm.

Delicious, big portions, they ask you your spice level for everything , the prices were reasonable. Everything we got was beyond delicious. We got the mixed grill , palak panner , garlic naan , and the stuffed onion bread .

The lunch buffet is worth it for $16 a person. It’s just no frills though. Like the rice is just in a rice cooker sitting on the side. Not that it’s bad, just want to note that it’s pretty basic, almost like you’re in someone’s home and they set food out for you to grab. Also we didn’t actually get table service. No one came to our table to ask if we wanted drinks or naan, we just had to flag someone down and they were giving off a vibe that was like we were bothering them, so that was a bit odd. If it was more expensive I would say don’t bother going, but for the low price I think it’s still worth a stop for a decent Indian lunch buffet, especially if you know what it’s like before going.

Food is always good. No complaints! Not spicy at all but on buffet bar you can get jalapeno or bring your own.

The food is AMAZING AND AUTHENTIC.
Atmosphere is clean and organized yet you still have a warm experience.
The staff was probably the best part of the experience. Every time I come in, I’m given recommendations on what to try. Can’t get enough! <3

My parents and I had the Tandori Special which was the best and most delicious meal that I have ever had! T was prepared to our liking of heat: mild, medium, and hot! I will definitely visit again soon. I highly recommend the buffet and dining experience at Guru Palace!

Absolutely amazing food! Got tandoori chicken, garlic naan, potato samosas, butter chicken all to go. Super flavorful, fresh, spicy and tasty and perfectly cooked! The folks were really friendly, fast and easy to work with. We placed the order online and it was super easy and no hiccups. Food was ready fast-pretty much the perfect all around experience!
