We stopped in to la Madeleine’s for a late breakfast. This was my first time here but my wife had been here many years ago. The food was excellent and service was very good. It was a great visit and loved up to the high praise my wife had been giving it.

La Madeline restaurant was a delightful find while we were riding the Green Line streetcar. I ordered the $10.99 combo meal, which included a sandwich, a Caesar salad, and a soft drink. It was an excellent value and a great combination. Highly recommended!

Madeline’s used to be my go to place for breakfast. This particular one I used to really like going through. But here and other locations have changed their menu to where it’s not really enjoyable. We’re just $18. I got a scrambled egg three pieces of limpy microwave bacona potato thing that I couldn’t tell you what was. The two things that were good was the two little slices of Roma tomato and the croissant. I guess I will cross the Madeline’s of my breakfast menu. And that’s sad cause I used to really like them.

I had the Brioche BLT. It’s was excellent! The drinks in the fridge were a bit warm but the restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly! I’ll make it a point to come back soon.

Also it’s a great place to bring kids if you’re meeting a friend for coffee. They have grilled cheese sandwiches and milk. Good for adults too.

The pick 3 is a good deal! You get 1/2 a sandwich, 1 side of your choice, & a beverage for $8.99(+ tax). You can upgrade to a whole sandwich for +$2. Service was quick & friendly. Food was good. The atmosphere was easy & comfortable. It was quiet when I was there. A/C was good temp–not too warm or cold–just right to cool off & enjoy your meal.

We visited New Orleans as tourists and our Airbnb was within walking distance of this establishment so we went several times because we enjoyed it so much. So much variety from sandwiches to soups to salads and of course lots of sweet treats! The staff was beyond friendly and like I said we came back several times to get treats throughout our trip. Would recommend!

I love this chain, but not this location. The cashier was extremely rude when my friend and I were both ordering. I ordered a salad and a diet Dr Pepper. He gave me the cup and I discovered that the soda machine was out of diet Dr Pepper. I asked him if they were going to be changing it and he said later. I said that’s the only thing I drink so if you’re not gonna change it, just give me a refund. Then he yelled and ask somebody else to go change it. 10 minutes later, he comes to my table and asks for my receipt he snatches it out of my hand and walks away, shaking his head and discussed. I didn’t know why he was taking my receipt. So I went up and spoke to the manager, James. Told James about the awful attitude and then also brought up how the same server bumped into the manager, dropped my friends dish of hot food right in the middle of the restaurant didn’t even acknowledge it and tell him it would be a longer wait while they made him a new plate. So I told them I hadn’t touched my food yet. I would just like a refund. The manager James didn’t even apologize or anything. He just walked away and went back to the kitchen. So yeah, the food might be great, but I didn’t get to eat it because the service is so horrible. I’m surprised that a reputable chain would allow this kind of behavior. My friend has been here before and the same cashier gave another one of his friends attitude. I’ll stick with the one in Metairie where they’re actually very nice to their customers.

The place is cute but the food is gross. There soda machine only has very flat soda! The ice machine is broken – so they have to go to their freezer and get you ice (no clue how) and it melts the moment you put anything in it so you have to ask for more ice.

The salads are warm and the sandwiches taste sour.

Don’t go here just go the location in Metairie if your crazing this type of food.

It seems to me that some of the fancier hotels I stay in don’t give you the type of service that lesser quality hotels do. We didn’t eat there so we don’t know what the food was like. One morning we wanted coffee to go. Even though we were staying at the hotel they charged us $6 for a cup of coffee.
They put us in a room on the 15th floor that was under construction, the area had the construction smell and one afternoon when we got back to the room there were construction workers laying on the floor on break. Felt like I was staying in a homeless shelter for four days

We ordered from here for lunch and we’re surprised with the poor quality and taste of everything.
I ordered the quinoa kale salad with salmon and there was no kale, the lettuce was sparse and wilted, the quinoa was a gelatinous mash with little flavor.
We ordered the avocado toast which turned out to be toast with the “idea of avocado” spread on top.
The soups were ok but you could get the same quality form a grocery store can. The baguette was ok, but again low quality.
The green beans were tasteless and overcooked but somehow still rubbery.
Would not recommend.
