Reviews
The diner is very clean, and smelled amazing. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and professional. It seemed like they may need some more workers for the damand at the time we went (evening around 6pm). The drive thru was full, and there were several people that came inside to order for both takeout and dining in.
Even through all of that, the food was really fresh, hot, and presented very well.
A few minutes passed, I asked if she was still there? She said Wait a minute. I confirmed to wait, 6 other cars behind me left and they didn’t place orders.
This was at the least 10 minutes waiting to order.
I ordered 2 pieces spicy dark combo with mashed and gravy.
I went to the window and the rep said that they were swapping out registers.
Do you really swap out your cash register at 5:32 PM in the middle of dinner rush? I have never heard of such a thing in all of my years working in food. Especially if you don’t have a backup till.
The girl didn’t know sweet tea from unsweetened tea.
I got my food and drove away. To find that I don’t have spicy chicken. I have regular chicken that tasted like it had been laying in lard. You could taste the flour in the batter, so it wasn’t cooked correctly. Because you should not be able to taste the flour, or the grease. The chicken is not edible.
The mashed potatoes and gravy didn’t have enough gravy on them to eat the serving of mashed potatoes.
When I worked at Popeyes we put a small dent in the top of the potato’s so there was enough for the entire serving. That was protocol then.
We didn’t serve chicken that was older than 30 minutes. We made sure our customers got the highest quality of food.
This is the second time that this has happened fat this Casa Grande restaurant..the last time I I ordered an 8 piece chicken dinner. I got one breast and all of the rest were wings.
This location really needs to improve their customer service.
If you are going to change your till out in the middle of dinner rush-hour. You should advise the customer that you are changing the till and give them the option as to whether they want to wait or not instead of saying wait a minute multiple times.
Plus, you need to improve the quality of the food that you are serving to the customers. $10 for a two piece dark spicy combo is a lot of money when you’re getting two pieces of grease logged chicken, a stale biscuit and a little bit of gravy with a lot of mashed potatoes. I am very disappointed in the quality of service and the food that is put out here. I’m surprised that corporate allows you to continue to serve food like this and this type of Customer Service. I’m very it’s very disappointing because I really like Popeyes, but I won’t be back.
Saturday night 11/29/25 11:15pm, THE FOOD IS AGAIN NASTY.
7months since we’ve tried to eat here and the food is STILL TERRIBLE. This is an embarrassment to the creole culture. POPEYES is about SPICES AND FLAVOR, CAJUN FOOD; not only does the food LACK EVERYTHING MENTIONED, it’s been numerous complaints with no change.
If you’re not going to cook the food correctly, then close the establishment, because at this point you’ve shown you do not care enough to learn the TRUE culture of the food you’re advertising. It’s a slap in the face.
Spicy is never spicy, nor flavorful. Biscuits are hard as rocks, stale fries, mashed potatoes taste like WATER, soda tastes like water.. we work too hard to spend our money on what is advertised as food but are given trash.
Food always missing
Food dry
Food overcooked
Slow Service
Do better.
