I was getting tired adjusted on my car, and seen this place a hop skip away, and I glad I stopped in. Great attentive service from the staff, and BOY OH BOY FAAAST SUSHI!!
Maybe only took 3-4 minutes and the sushi was to my table already. It was tasty and fresh. I had the all you can eat option but could only get a few half rolls and a baked roll. Yummy, I would stop by again!

Hate to say it but very disappointed. The yum yum scallop was comprised of overcooked bay scallops and imitation crab. Not yum. Agedashi tofu a slab of fried tofu and dashi… Blah with no garnish. The garlic tuna was great. Hamachi was fine but had a ring on the edge with a rosy center showing it was yesterday’s oxidized block and not wrapped properly. Unagi was barely warm with no caramelization. Oysters were good. Tai snapper good. Poke salad was good until biting into a spoiled cucumber. Never got the amaebi we ordered but service was solid otherwise. Left a hundred on a $78 tab. Too many other places to choose from that are much much better unfortunately for this place. Left hungry.

Super cute and clean restaurant. Prompt service. The miso soup was good. The house salad was super fresh and bright. Loved the spicy tuna roll. The yellowtail and spicy yellowtail in were not that good. I won’t order them again but I will defintly be back to try everything else!

We’ve been going here since 2008 when it was less than half the size (2026 as I write). It’s an almost weekly stop for us and to say we’ve been there/eaten pick-up 35-40 times a year is an easy bet I’d make. The food is fresh! Yung is an awesome chef supported by an incredible and long-serving team. To all the people saying they got sick: it could have been anything. 18 years of regular visits and all I can say is I wish I could go more. We order a la carte (rarely AYCE) and enjoy both the sashimi/sushi and the more unique special rolls.

Blue Fin Sushi in Las Vegas offers a decent, if not spectacular, option for those craving Japanese cuisine. Stepping into the establishment, the ambiance is fairly standard for a sushi restaurant – clean, well-lit, and generally comfortable, though it doesn’t boast any particularly unique or memorable decor.
The menu at Blue Fin presents a solid array of classic sushi and sashimi options, along with a selection of rolls and a few cooked dishes. On my visit, the fish was fresh enough, with the standard cuts of tuna and salmon tasting as expected. The nigiri was prepared competently, holding its form without being overly pressed. However, the rice, while acceptable, didn’t quite reach the perfect nuanced balance of sweetness and acidity that truly elevates top-tier sushi.
Where Blue Fin truly shines is its reliability. You won’t find avant-garde creations or mind-blowing culinary artistry, but you will find consistently prepared, palatable sushi. The service was attentive and efficient, ensuring a smooth dining experience. For a casual dinner or a quick sushi fix, Blue Fin adequately fills the void. It’s a reliable neighborhood spot that delivers on its promise of decent sushi without trying to be something it’s not, making it a perfectly fine choice for a Las Vegas meal when you’re in the mood for something straightforward and satisfying.

The sushi is amazing. I highly recommend the ‘Wet Dream’ roll. Amazing flavors and the portion size is way more than enough. My husband got the ‘Happy Ending’ roll, and it was also very good. The service was amazing. Very helpful and informative for our friends that dined with us that don’t like raw fish.

Great place for lunch or dinner. Brought my kids to dinner here last time and they were quite friendly. This time around did lunch, the lady Yaritza was nice in the beginning but then got an attitude for no reason. I like coming here for dinner. The food was great! The fish is really fresh and tasty. My favorite drink was the, “Good Day Watermelon” the dinner price is $32.99

We came here on Valentine’s Day hoping to have a nice dinner, but unfortunately we had a very bad experience. I would like to add that after we placed our order, we were completely ignored. The server avoided our table, didn’t check on us, and even avoided eye contact.

It made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable the entire time. Valentine’s Day is supposed to be special, and the lack of attention and service really ruined the experience. Very disappointing.
