Take your money somewhere else. I’ve avoided Panera for the past few years because of how small and expensive their portion sizes have gotten. $30 for a bowl of soup, a cup of Mac n cheese (that tasted like it came straight out of a box) and a pitiful half sandwich. The bread bowl has shrunk about half the size that I remember from a few years ago and there was way more bread than soup, which is saying something since the bread bowl itself was so small. Panera has absolutely joined the wave of businesses prioritizing profits over quality, despite their claims to improve things. Also their brownie bite really is…one bite.

I never tend to leave reviews but this seriously made me upset. If you call this a whole sandwich, well I don’t want to know what’s half. I got a whole chipotle chicken avocado melt in hopes that it would look like usual but I got this. Ik I didn’t not just pay almost 15-20 dollars just for this.

This worker of the Panera at Lakewood. I catch this guy in while ago he is coming out from restroom and he is not washing his hands after restroom. I try to worn him but he is def and not hearing what I said. I’ve talked manager about it but nothing changed. I have catch this guy again. he is still does disgusting habits on work and I don’t think he will change. Also I don’t care if he will lose his job anymore because he is disgusting.
He do sometimes cooking bagels sometimes preparing sandwiches and he also washing dishes. He touches everywhere and he is walking around always. Don’t eat at this Panera!!!!!!

I had a digital gift card and for some reason we couldn’t get it to work at the register, so to use it I was forced to order from my phone through the Panera app which I’m unfamiliar with.

Unfortunately the order automatically sent to the last Panera I visited, across town. App didn’t ask for me to select a location and only asked me to share my location so assumed when I placed my dine in order inside a Panera it would be correct, I guess not.

The experience was frustrating but Christine really stepped up with great customer service. She personally called the other store and got the order cancelled then fully rectified the situation. I’m very satisfied with the high level of customer service I received from her and the food was good as well

We’ve been eating here for about 13 years and it has continued to go down in quality over the years. It has come to the point where we won’t eat here for a year and then give it another try and it is just as bad. They will regularly forget side items. They consistently put the wrong bread on the sandwiches. Asking for modifications will be hit or miss if they actually do it correctly. 9 times out of 10 we will get salads that are filled with gross lettuce that no one would ever eat because it is black and slimey. If you order delivery through Panera’s website, they won’t be able to refund or redeliver food without trying to get Door Dash approval which is frustrating because might as well have ordered through the Door Dash app. We called to get a full refund or redelivery on a completely bad order and we sat on hold for 25 minutes to get an answer. She finally said the dasher would be there in 5-10 minutes and the restaurant is 5 minutes from our house. It still took another 30 minutes. The dasher arrived and said that it wasn’t ready and he was waiting. It arrived and 1 sandwich was wrong, 1 had slimey and black lettuce, and both salads again had black and slimey lettuce. You would think having to remake the full order that they would make sure it was good this time. Clearly they think it is too late to give proper lettuce. I’m in awe of how bad that whole experience was. The “manager” who answered was also the same girl Bree mentioned in another past bad review. Overall, we will probaly not continue to eat here again.

Writing as a thank you. Brought elderly parent for lunch and John was incredibly patient and was very reassuring and did not hurry her. The price is nice for these days. Indoor or outdoor seating available. Kayla (who prepared our food) was cheery and sweet too. We had a fun time.

I used to love Panera, but the lack of good serving and price do not got well. I went in for rapid pick up, everyone was attentive. However, the portion of the group soup (serves 4- maybe toddlers), only had enough servings for 2 people( you should specific how much is actually portioned out. . )We ordered a chipotle chicken melt and pictures show how poorly it was made, plus the bread was salty. Oh and they were out of baguettes so they gave me apples…

Not helpful at all. 2 guys didn’t know how to run a gift card and they never did figure it out. Several people walking around as we were standing at the counter needing assistance. Customer service could improve dramatically.

Stopped by Panera Bread, my old breakfast stomping ground for some lunch. The location was pretty busy and everyone inside seemed to be enjoying themselves. It’s always sad, however, to know that you’ve arrived just past 1030am and you can’t order breakfast even though they have dozens upon dozens of bagels still. Wish they could change that policy.

I decided to order a Pick Two lunch: a chicken salad sandwich and tomato soup with an apple. The soup was great, nice and hot, exactly what you expected. But the chicken salad sandwich, my goodness, so disappointing. The portion size was a joke. I even had to ask the staff if this was right and the guy beyond the prep area said, “yes, that one scoop, and that’s even a big portion I gave you.” (Looking at photo).
First off, anytime you hear somehow refer to your food in scoop sizes is completely unprofessional. Second, there is no way the portion size on that sadly looking concoction is adequate for anybody. The lunch was rather disappointing. To finish it off, the price for my entire lunch (a pick two and a small coffee) was $15! That’s crazy talk to me, I felt that this meal was very overpriced and the portion size was very much taking advantage of the customer. If I’m spending that amount of money on lunch, not dinner but lunch, I would expect to have a larger portion.
Overall, my visit was rather bleh, and would had rather spent my money elsewhere that day.

Today we came with a big group, a few of them need support ordering and paying. Shauna and her team were so accommodating, kind and helpful. They made the experience so good and happy. We had a wonderful lunch!
