I visited this establishment with a friend for a quick lunch on a weekday when it was noticeably slow. We chose to sit at the bar, expecting relatively prompt service given that it was not busy. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We waited an extended period of time before being acknowledged. The delay was long enough that we were never even offered drinks separately. When we were finally approached, we placed both our drink and food orders at the same time simply because of how long it had taken to receive any attention.
I ordered chicken tacos with a side of guacamole and a tequila sunrise. While the food itself was decent at best; the drink was actually good and a step-up from the food. After the food was brought out, I noticed I did not get the side of guacamole that I requested, and made the waitress aware that it was missing. She went to the kitchen in the back and I continued to wait some more for her to return, but to my surprise the guacamole still never came out. Since she never came back out either and because of the already lengthy waits we had experienced, I chose not to flag anyone else down or wait what likely would have been another extended period. I simply ate my tacos without it.
When the bill came, someone different than the waitress gave it to us, someone I presumed was the manager. When I looked at the bill to see what I had been charged, I noticed that I had been charged for the guacamole despite never receiving it. I brought this to his attention. To his credit, he did remove the charge after confirming the situation. So the waitress went as far to enter the guacamole into the POS system but then forgets to bring it out, twice! probably got distracted with the conversations they were having in the back.
Overall, the experience was very disappointing. While the food was passable, customer service was awful. The lack of attentiveness and follow-through took away from what should have been a straightforward and easygoing dining experience; especially on a day when the restaurant was not busy.

I am seeing past reviews from customers with the same experience as mine, most of which are the same race as me (black). I would hope this is not a race issue, but it could seem like it. I would like to say, as a server myself who has worked in MANY different establishments, this has been the absolute worst experience I have ever dealt with. The drinks were okay, which is the only thing I can vouch for. My friend and I stopped by to enjoy some dinner, and we got Salmon & Camarones Barrachos. They were bland, vegetables were soggy, and the camarones looked interesting to say the least. We asked the manager if he could take it off the bill for us and if we would be able to choose something else instead, and we were met with the most distasteful attitude from the manager. He refused to give us his name, as when my friend asked for it, he had the nerve to say “I’ll deal with you in a second.” Are you kidding me? He asked us many questions to specify what we didn’t like, and told me that I “needed to have special tastebuds for the salmon”. I eat salmon EVERYWHERE and cook it all of the time, so I would hope I have the tastebuds for salmon! He was rude, asked us what we wanted him to do, and told us we can box it up, but he won’t accommodate us. I could not believe it! He went back and forth with us and had the worst attitude while also glaring at us the entire time. To make it worse, there was also a fly that landed on my food as well! (Picture attached). I can understand slight frustration, but at the end of the day, even I know that the customer is always right. They could have even offered a different entree for us, but did not. Insane! I usually don’t leave reviews but this was horrible. I did get the manager’s first name from the bartender. His name is Pedro. No hate to the bartenders, they seemed to be apologetic for their managers actions. Definitely a management issue.

The food is delicious and the service is fantastic. Very friendly and attentive staff. There is karaoke every night, which would be fine if it weren’t so loud. We were there on a Sunday, very small crowd, and you would have thought you were in a nightclub. Totally unnecessary volume that made us rush to leave.
Beware of the Botella Magica. It’s an absolutely delicious drink, but it’s huge and will knock you on your butt. My suggestion is, let someone else drive if you have one.

My friend and I stopped by here to try out a new restaurant in the area. When we let the bar tender know that we were not satisfied with food and if we could get another dish. She spoke with her manager and he shortly came over and said that there was absolutely nothing he could do. We asked if we could get something else and instead kept asking us if that’s we what we ordered and nothing else. When she handed us the bill, it was almost $100. We had asked to speak to the manager again, and asked if there’s anything possible he could do. The managers name, who i was told, is Pedro. Pedro kept ignoring our questions and was very rude and dismissive when we expressed our concerns. He offered absolutely no help to us and was instead very very rude, stating that “that’s what we ordered” and “you do know that it’s made differently everywhere, right?” and because we couldn’t explicitly explain why we didn’t like it he wasn’t going to remove it. PLEASE DO NOT eat here!!! Management is very unprofessional. Would give 0 stars if possible.
EDIT: Forgot to add that he refused to tell us his name, was dismissed me when i asked him. And we still forced to pay the bill. Upon looking at other reviews, it’s prevalent that this is a common experience amongst other black customers…interesting.

Taco, shrimp and steak. Soooo… yeah. Def not worth my dollars. Maybe their other food is but the tacos were very close to mediocre. Steak was over cooked, dry, under seasoned and corn tortillas were falling apart as I picked them up. I appreciate the amount of meat in the taco BUT it was messy. The shrimp was dry, tiny, too much of it and simply seasoned which would’ve been okay had it not been dry! The salsa verde is the ONLY thing that made the tacos good enough! Food from a restaurant isn’t supposed to be just good enough. I can make good enough at home! But I don’t . No but seriously! Them tacos need work and love

This is gonna be a brutal review. I call them how I see them.
Went here with friends from work. To celebrate two birthdays. From the start the service was bad. They had us wait 20 minutes to sit. When there was plenty of tables available. We were seated. It was till 15 minutes later. They brought out the menus. They had one host. 2 waiters and a bus boy. The waiter came by took our drink orders. One Bar Tender. The drinks came out slowly. My water. The only drink that didn’t need to be prepared. Got to me 20 minutes after I ordered it. All he had to do was bring from the fridge. I watched him do it. We never got any chips or salsa or offered any.
He finally came around to get food orders. We started with appetizers. Never brought out enough plates of utensils.
The service was horrible. It was Really!!! Really!!! Really!!!! Bad.
The food came out. Everything was bland and didn’t taste well. I actually went home and did a covid exam. Test negative. The food is that bad. I don’t know how people eat there.
They don’t offer coffee either. The food Really!!!! Really!!! Really!!! Sucks!!!
The atmosphere
The place is run down. They can use a visit from the he
alth inspector. No soap in the bathroom. Place is dirty looking. Table was sticky. With the group I was with. I would have fun at a bus stop. With a case of Corona and a Bottle of Tequila. I didn’t drink any alcohol. So I cant tell you how good they were. I know they were expensive. The music was loud. Loud enough that you cant hear the person accross from you. I give it a 3 in this category. Because they had one guy at the bar. That could sing his ass off. They need to hire that guy or pay for his tab.
So below I am attaching pictures. As you will see. We spent over a $1000. They never offered us desert after we ate. Had the never to charge us 20 percent gratuity. Charged the credit card fee. That is not posted any where on the dirty menu. The drink menu has no prices. So beware of that. The waiter was pushing meals to build up his ticket and tip. It was so obvious.For this crap experience.
Stay away tell your friends. It’s not worth it. Much better places in the area.

Not the most authentic food. This was supposed to be an al pastor taco but it’s just cubed meat. Seems like a place that’s best for drinks and apps at night given the nice ambiance and full bar, not so much for authentic Mexican cuisine. They also charge for water.

I originally went here to celebrate Cinco De Mayo with several friends, and we all loved the place. The food was fresh, the drinks were well-made, and the service was excellent. I returned with my in-laws and had a nice lunch with them. the service was just as good as my first visit, and I will be returning in the future. I had the birria tacos and they were so tasty. We also had empanadas, mini tacos, and nachos to share. Once again, everything was delicious. Overall, a great restaurant.
