Very prepackaged steakhouse. Giving off sizzler vibes. Like eating in a movie set of an old west movie. The food is mediocre. I have a feeling a lot of it is pulled out of the walking freezer and just defrosted. The broccoli was over cook. The steak was fine. Drinks are large.

This place is really nice. Large Booth tables. I wish I would have taken more photos inside the restaurant. It has good lighting. Low volume on the noise, so it’s easy to carry a conversation.
The staff were great and funny. I ordered a New York steak and chicken breast. I’m on the carnivore diet so can’t have sauces and or sugars let alone any vegetables. Food was delicious.
I will definitely be returning next time I am in the area. Thank you for a great experience and exceptional customer service!

Always loved this place. Thankfully after 8yrs in Alaska I came back and it’s still one of my favorites. Sizzling steak bites and flat iron bread pudding. Excellent!!

The only thing that was tasty was the bread. The filet mignon is incredibly salty.
Cob salad with terrible meat and nasty bacon. Zero service. We waited 45 minutes for our order. The place stinks. The tables are sticky. Public toilets are cleaner than here

This was my first time dining at Cool Hand Luke’s and it was not disappointing.
I had the prime rib with a salad and green beans.
The prime rib was very good although it could have been a little more flavorful.
The green beans were very flavorful, they had a sauce of some sort on them and I do believe I detected soy sauce as one of the ingredients. Different but tasty.
The server was excellent as she was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu
Overall it was a good experience although I feel the prime rib was a little overpriced for what you get as I got the small portion and it was $37 I believe.

I came here because the reviews were good and I was not disappointed. Sat at the bar by myself and received excellent service from the bartender. Steak was cooked perfectly, not a bunch of added butter and seasoning to the meat or vegetables, which I appreciate. The camp fire beans were delicious! Happy hour wine went great with my meal. I will definitely come back here.

11-25-2025 ordered the rib eye, 1 half inch steak less than 1 fourth inch towards the outer edge. Every bite was grisly or fat or both. Asked for rare and got med closer to well around the edges. Mashed potatoes were cold asked fir them to be warmed. A year and a half ago I went and had the steak tips that were tough had send them back but thought I would give it another try,my fault.i paid 44.00 dollars and I waited till after I paid to complain to server. She was a good server but didn’t offer any resolution except iam sorry. I come from Santa Maria Calif. That’s famous for their Barbque meats and maybe iam used to the best and this place seems to use bull meat. Never going back. Buyer beware. BIRD FROM SANTA MARIA. IF YOUR EVER IN THAT AREA EAT AT JOCKOS FOR THE BEST STEAK YOULL EVER EAT.

The food was pretty good and good-sized portions. Appetizers showed up before drinks, which is odd and dumb. Little pricey for the quality, but the facility has a cool old-time theme. Also, I have never seen a cob salad without hardboiled eggs.

One of the great steakhouses in Clovis, their meat is perfectly done and the atmosphere is really great. I think their bread pudding is the best in town so definitely give it a try and they also accommodate larger parties in their little enclosed spaces so perfect for celebrations.

My Husband and I celebrated our 5th year anniversary. First time here and all was great! Arrived early and seated right away. Fast service and more importantly delicious Food. Definitely plan on coming back!
