You’re immediately welcomed by a friendly person at the front desk and seated at a beautifully set table. A special mention goes to our waiter, Steven — very pleasant, attentive, and professional. The service is genuinely high-level, absolutely European standard.
You really understand what you are eating and what you are paying for. The food is refined: well-balanced sauces, excellent flavor combinations, and everything is prepared perfectly. There is also a great selection of mocktails and cocktails, several of which are truly outstanding.
Overall, everything is at a very high level — exactly what you expect from a good Italian restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I haven’t eaten this well or received such great service in a long time, especially in this city.
It’s a beautiful restaurant with plenty of space for dining. We stopped by during the week so reservations were easy to make. We loved the ambiance and it’s great for catching up with friends or even a date night.
The service was great! Our server was charming, made us feel welcomed and took good care of us.
For dinner we shared a pizza and meatballs and I had the lamb lasagna. Everything hit the spot especially the lamb lasagna. I was a little nervous about the mushrooms since they aren’t my favorite, but I really enjoyed it! I would order it again and would highly recommend. The drinks were also really good.
Gianna is be great for a full meal or for after work drinks. Overall we had a great time and I will definitely return next time I’m in New Orleans.
I started with the Brussels Sprout & Kale Salad – phenomenal. It does have red onion, which is not mentioned on the menu- luckily I was able to pick them out.
For the main dish, Rigatoni Alla Amatriciana- delicious. The pasta could have been cooked 1-2 more minutes for my liking but the flavor was outstanding, had a nice spicy kick, and it wasn’t a huge portion. Service and atmosphere were great.
Solid! I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back, but nice restaurant for a large group if you need it and a great place to bring parents or meet a friend at the bar.
My wife and I went to Gianna for our 15 year anniversary. We’ve been before and have always loved it. Our favorites from last night ranked in order were the broccolini, the mushroom pasta, the meatballs and garlic bread, the ricotta gnocchi, and the roasted spaghetti squash. The broccolini was the highlight but everything was delicious.
Had Anna as our server, she was accommodating and very sweet.
Food was pretty good as well.
I ordered thee Campanelle Pesto Alla Trapanese pair with the Farm Green salad and a wonderful Espresso martini! There was also a Wood Oven Fired Puccia bread I ordered as an app and the Paesano potatoes was divine!
No complaints at all, thanks for the hospitality!
And the lamb lasagna for my entree, butterscotch boudin for my dessert. Butterscotch isn’t a good choice if u’re not a sweet-tooth. Overall everything is great!
