Reviews
Atmosphere- typical Vietnamese restaurant look, nothing stands out, very clean, fairly quiet.
Food:
Summer roll & spring rolls- yummy.
Pho- soup base was delicious; we ordered small and it was SMALL, compared to other restaurants, we can get full out of a small pho, but here we didn’t; meat quality was good.
Banh mi- not authentic Vietnamese sandwich, Asian style but not Banh Mi.
Pricing- not bad and not cheap either.
This spot is convenient for grab something quick and hearty, but not a top rated Vietnamese restaurant from my perspective and experience.
I ordered a chicken pho and unfortunately, I just felt like there wasn’t strong enough flavor to me… it definitely had a taste tho but it just wasn’t hitting as strong to me as the soup base was also a bit clear.
The pricing was not bad, their fried spring rolls were decent! I have had better for sure but this one wasn’t terrible and had a good crunch to it. I definitely am going to come back to try different flavors and hopefully I order the right thing next time.
It’s not a fancy sit-down restaurant, more of a casual grab-and-enjoy spot, but the quality of the food easily outshines the setting. I’ll definitely be coming back.
As business travelers from New York, we were craving some authentic Vietnamese pho, and Google’s glowing reviews led us to this place. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the vibrant Vietnamese ambiance. The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming.
We started with Vietnamese coffee. It was quite strong, so we added some water ourselves to dilute it. Our waiter, noticing this, thoughtfully offered half-and-half, and adding it made the coffee even more delicious. Next, the spring rolls arrived, and they were truly delightful – fresh, fragrant, and packed with flavor.
Then came the main event: the “Train Head” Vietnamese pho. The broth was incredibly rich and flavorful. I opted for a small bowl, and it was surprisingly filling, with plenty of tender meat slices hidden beneath the noodles. By the end of the meal, we were completely satisfied and incredibly comfortable. This restaurant is definitely worth recommending!
I had delicious Bun Bo Nuong Xo once at a place in Crofton a few years ago, but I didn’t think about it again until I recently drove by the same place. I was on the hunt for it locally and came across An Loi, which had stellar reviews. The portion is huge, enough for at least two and maybe three more servings. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, including those tasty carrots.
I highly recommend it!
