Ordered half sweet and half unsweetened tea because your sweet tea at full strength will give a hummingbird diabetes. You charged me 10c up charge to mix a drink? Glad I didn’t ask for a splash of every soft drink from your fountain machine. Probably be down $100.00

Ordered on the app for curbside pickup xmas night around 7:30. Did not know they were closed at 6, but the money came out pending in my account. I go in today 12/26 at 3:20 and speak to the manager and SHOW him the app pick up that says “go to front desk and show your pick up number” to place your order for food. I did that and the manager told me no! He said they were closed xmas night. I said I know, it says give you the order number to make the order. He refused to enter my number and said I will get a refund after midnight. The app says, thanks for your order hope you enjoyed your food?! Also, you can’t cancel an order once it is being “prepared”- they don’t prepare your order until you pull up curbside. Makes no sense. Whelp, after midnight and the money is out of my account with no food to show for it! I have to go back again tomorrow now and show screenshots of the date ordered and the money taken out. So frustrating that he wouldn’t just enter my order number when I already paid for it!

Order is rarely correct at this location, especially if you order more than one item at a time and nobody will answer the phone. It’s not even a McDonalds voicemail…just a random voice. Didn’t take long to go down hill!

I stopped in to get some food at 1030ish am. breakfast time is usually over n lunch starts. I had order 255. I work 3 mins down the street literally and by the time I got to work the food was awful. the nuggets were over cooked and Cold. the hi-c had zero flavor, and the cheese burger patties weren’t warm at all. the only good thing abiut this meal was the pure honey for my nuggets. the fries weren’t even hot. I can safely say this will be the last time I eat McDonald’s. 13 dollars and change spent to be left disappointed

Placed a mobile order via McD’s mobile app for 1 large drink approx. 5 min. before arriving at 830 E. Williams St. location in Apex. This was around 7pm on a Tues. night, so not too busy. When I pulled up to drive-thru and provided mobile code, they couldn’t locate my order so I was asked to re-place my order. I politely refused explaining I had already been charged & order had already been paid for in mobile app, so was told to pull around to first window.

I showed mobile code to staff & confirmed I was at correct location, but they still couldn’t find order in system and I was kindly told to pull up to next window & someone would fix my drink.
At second window, another staff person asked me to confirm my order for med. Diet Coke, but my order was for a Large Fanta Orange. Then another staff member came back and asked to see my phone and mobile code. I showed them screenshot of mobile code which I took in advance knowing I was 5 min. away when I placed my order (and mobile code only remains on screen in app for limited time)… but the extremely young male staff person had an issue with screenshot as mobile code did not appear “live” in the mobile app. Then staff member appeared to get an attitude… like I was possibly trying to scam them for a free drink???

I offered to show my order history from the app and my online receipt from Gmail, but person just made a face, walked away and came back with my drink… No smile, no thank you and offered no apology.

Am still confounded how someone can lose a mobile app order in under 5 minutes AND/or how it’s possible that not a single staff person had the ability to locate a mobile app order if it didn’t coincide with the exact order that customers had proceeded through the drive thru. ⁉️

I order takeout approx. 3-4 times per week… but always make an additional stop at McDonald’s to pick up drink(s) as McD’s offers the best value and lowest priced fountain drinks around.

This happened to be my first-time visit to this McD’s as it turned up nearest to my current location in Google Maps search results— consequently, it will also be my last.
This sucks for me as E. William Street is now en route to a new weekly appt. commute from Raleigh… and I will now have to drive 10 miles out of my way for the next closest McDonald’s.

So unbelievable slow. Like, not even fast food anymore. You’re waiting 20-30 minutes for food. The new system has all the employees hidden away in the back and it ALSO has all items hidden away as well. So now when you finally get your food and need napkins or a refill, or if they inevitably get something wrong, you will be waiting even longer to get what you ordered.

That said, if McDonald’s isn’t affordable and if it isn’t fast, what is the niche it holds? Why even come here?

I just had a terrible experience here. The manager accused us of taking photos of her staff, out of nowhere, how ridiculous. My husband and I were waiting for our order, looking at our phones, and this girl comes over and tells us we’re taking photos, that her staff told her so, that they had recordings. We told her to look at them, we haven’t taken any photos! Look at our gallery. It’s really awful that this happened.

Great experience – the manager (I assume because if the different color shirt) was super friendly, offered to refill my drink, took care of our tray when we were ready to leave and asked us how the food was while we were eating. The fries were hot and fresh, all around great.
