First time here, lifetime customers! From the moment we walked in we were greeted and sat with smiles. We ordered the meatballs (I forgot to get photos) and they were both the size of baseballs and DELICIOUS. We also ordered the garlic knots which were great too! The salad with the homemade Italian dressing was enormous and I almost asked for the dressing to go it was so good! We ordered the chicken Parmesan and angel hair with garlic and oil rosemary sauce. The portions are HUGE, I would recommend sharing everything. Allie was our server and she was phenomenal! We already can’t wait to come back again next vacation!
The Veal Parmesan is excellent, with the choice of breaded or not.
The Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich is served with in house baked bread and perfectly cooked.
One of the nightly specials was Grouper marinated and served with a choice of pasta.
We enjoyed amazing stuffed mushrooms and the BEST ever garlic knots as an appetizer.
Come in hungry and, you will still need a to go box! So good, I look forward to my next visit.
Also, I am hoping that Idalia didn’t cause this fine establishment any permanent damage.
4pm on a Friday and empty at our seating but were asked if we had reservations.
Staff was friendly enough and helpful. Our “included” salads consisted of iceberg, a few kalamata olives and cucumber slices with massive chunks of tomato that should have been cut smaller. Bread was said to be on the way but didn’t arrive until after we had our entrees.
Food was quite over seasoned. Veal saltimbocca was flavorful but rather salty. The ravioli in vodka sauce was much too salty to eat and sauce was broken. We asked to exchange for penne in meat sauce. We recived a suger sweetened bolognese and mushy pasta delivered by an angry manager. Not a meat sauce. At this point we decided to just skip the meal, pay for the Veal and be on our way. Included on our check was the “included” salad at $9.
$9 for iceberg?
We asked to question the manager as to why an “included” salad was being billed to us. She said – you ate part of it so I’m charging you. Sorry you think differenyly. I just had to throw away $60 dollars of food. I don’t care. Prices are going up. Things are expensive
We paid our bill. $45 for a single entree and a handful of iceberg. But YOU WOULDN’T HAVE HAD TO THOW AWAY $60 IN PROFIT if your chefs could season properly. Also if you are loosing money on a $28 pasta plate(no protein), your definitely doing something wrong in business.
If something comes back to the kitchen, you, the manager, who is so worried about bottom line and profits rather than quality, should make sure the next dish to head out is spot on so you don’t have a repeat!! Also be professional.
Maybe this was an off night. It happens. Maybe the manager is dealing with outside issues.
You still have a business to run. A manager should never act like that and go on attack.
