We dine at Bindia at least two or three times a year, and it’s always a solid choice. The guavarita ($14) was a bit too sweet for my taste, so I probably wouldn’t order it again, but the happy hour with discounts on beer and wine before 5 pm is a great deal.
The only downside was that there was accidental cross-contamination with cilantro baked into the roti, which could have been avoided with a more thorough quality check. The homogeneous eggplant mash was also missing the stated ginger paneer makhni.
Other than that, Bindia continues to be a reliable spot for flavourful, healthy meals.
– Hara Bhara Kebab – 9/10
This was the absolute star of the appetizers. Flavorful, crispy on the outside, soft inside, and served beautifully with salad in a bowl. The only downside? Just two kebabs. Not ideal for sharing and kind of feels like a tease because it’s so good. But I keep going back for it anyway, that’s how tasty it is.
– Chicken 65 – 6.5/10
It was decent. Nothing wrong with it, just didn’t wow me. Could’ve been spicier or had more bold flavor. Probably wouldn’t order again just because there are so many other good things to try.
– Butter Chicken – 10/10
Creamy, rich, and absolutely delicious. This is comfort food at its best. Would totally recommend.
– Paneer Tikka Masala – 9/10
Great flavor, paneer was soft and nicely grilled, and the sauce was packed with depth. Definitely a solid veg option.
– Masala Chai – 7/10
Flavor-wise it was nice and had all the right spices, but it came unsweetened. I prefer it with sugar already added, so it felt a bit plain to me. If you like your chai feeki, this might be for you though.
– Naan (Plain, Garlic, and Butter) – 9/10
All three were great. Soft, buttery, and perfect for scooping up all the saucy dishes. No complaints here, just yum.
– Cocktail & Mocktail –
I don’t remember the exact names, but one had sugar, mint, and lime, and the other was kind of like a mojito. The mojito-style drink was definitely the winner. Super refreshing and paired well with the food.
Would return for the food, but hoping the service improves.
