Had dinner with my daughter at Bindia last night. She and I are foodies and I am only in Toronto once a year to visit her, so we are very selective of where we choose to eat. We had an amazing time. The cocktails were amazing. The food was the best Indian food I have had anywhere in North America. The owner Jyothi is like a shining star that radiates around the restaurant. As she went from table to table we found that she was chatting with families that have been coming here for more than 10 years. One child was there for his 8th birthday. Because the first time he had been there was in his mother’s womb, being celebrated for being conceived. I am not making this up. Staff was friendly and were very attentive servers. The fish pakoras were the freshest and lightest ones I have ever had. My favourites were the lamb chops. Don’t wait, give them a try!

I recently visited Bindia and had a lovely experience. We enjoyed the chicken tikka, tandoori roti, the eggplant, and lentil vegetable soup. The food was fresh and healthy, with the flavors standing out as vibrant and well-balanced. The service was excellent, and we were happy to finally meet the owner, Jyoti, who added a personal conversation to our visit. The restaurant is clean and welcoming, and the main floor washrooms are a nice convenience.

We dine at Bindia at least two or three times a year, and it’s always a solid choice. The guavarita ($14) was a bit too sweet for my taste, so I probably wouldn’t order it again, but the happy hour with discounts on beer and wine before 5 pm is a great deal.

The only downside was that there was accidental cross-contamination with cilantro baked into the roti, which could have been avoided with a more thorough quality check. The homogeneous eggplant mash was also missing the stated ginger paneer makhni.

Other than that, Bindia continues to be a reliable spot for flavourful, healthy meals.

Bindia delivers a vibrant and flavorful Indian fine dining experience. The tandoor kebab and chicken platters were the standout—perfectly cooked, a bit smoky, and packed with rich spices. Every dish showcased bright, well-balanced flavors, making each bite exciting. The service was warm and attentive, complementing the inviting and modern atmosphere. Whether you’re a fan of classic Indian cuisine or exploring new flavors, Bindia is a must-visit!

I was around the block for an event and thought this is a place where we may get something quick and filling so ordered sevpuri. It was very price-friend ($10 after tax) and the quality justified it. If this sevpuri is representation of Indian streetfood I dont know what to say apart from calling it a scam. Why put things on menu which you cannot make or want to use shortcuts of putting only sev and potato served with a neon green chutney and dahi (which is not even part of sevpuri) funny how in this day and age where we have such a big Indian crowd here and overall awareness of Indian food among everyone, such restaurants are daring to serve such shortcuts.

Great food and awesome service. We enjoyed our meals and the price is fair for the stuff we ordered. Will definitely go back next time I am craving Indian cuisine.

Thank you for a very welcoming and delicious experience . Celebrated a 71st birthday lunch. Aaji/Dadi was very happy with food and loved ones. Appreciate the early opening at 11am on Saturday for the little ones.

Been to Bindia a couple of times now and the food has been consistently solid. The only downside was the service, which felt a bit unprofessional and slow. Ambiance was decent.

– Hara Bhara Kebab – 9/10
This was the absolute star of the appetizers. Flavorful, crispy on the outside, soft inside, and served beautifully with salad in a bowl. The only downside? Just two kebabs. Not ideal for sharing and kind of feels like a tease because it’s so good. But I keep going back for it anyway, that’s how tasty it is.

– Chicken 65 – 6.5/10
It was decent. Nothing wrong with it, just didn’t wow me. Could’ve been spicier or had more bold flavor. Probably wouldn’t order again just because there are so many other good things to try.

– Butter Chicken – 10/10
Creamy, rich, and absolutely delicious. This is comfort food at its best. Would totally recommend.

– Paneer Tikka Masala – 9/10
Great flavor, paneer was soft and nicely grilled, and the sauce was packed with depth. Definitely a solid veg option.

– Masala Chai – 7/10
Flavor-wise it was nice and had all the right spices, but it came unsweetened. I prefer it with sugar already added, so it felt a bit plain to me. If you like your chai feeki, this might be for you though.

– Naan (Plain, Garlic, and Butter) – 9/10
All three were great. Soft, buttery, and perfect for scooping up all the saucy dishes. No complaints here, just yum.

– Cocktail & Mocktail –
I don’t remember the exact names, but one had sugar, mint, and lime, and the other was kind of like a mojito. The mojito-style drink was definitely the winner. Super refreshing and paired well with the food.

Would return for the food, but hoping the service improves.

Ordered online. Was highly disappointed with the tiny portion. Got 2 meat dishes for $24 + tax each and was shocked when i found only 6-7 peices of meat in each swimming in a full bowl of sauce. Definitely far from worth the price. Luckily skip offered a credit so I can order additional from somewhere else since this was just enough food to consider an appetizer. Food was ok nothing special.
