Every time I go to this McDonald’s I get bad food. Last time I was here I got hard dark fries. Manager sat two seats down and had fresh ones. I should have said something and got it corrected but I just left it alone. This time I went and got a wet biscuit. Who wants wet bread? Was already back at the train station with my train approaching when I noticed so I couldn’t go back. Believe me, I will never spend my money here again.

Ordered a decaf on the app at 6:24pm Sunday evening. Just a coffee. Some 15 minutes or so later, my name was called. The employee said they didn’t have decaf. I told him regular was ok, and then waited at the counter, standing right there. Another 10 minutes. I finally complained about the slow service. Then, and only then, this guy finally went back and brought out a coffee. Not a single word of apology. Or, anything. He acted as if I was being pushy. When I finally got my coffee, it was 6:51pm. It took 27 minutes, and a complaint, to get a cup of coffee. Not even the one I ordered on the app.
I took some pictures of the restaurant to post a review. Some minutes later, another guy in a black jacket came to me and made a threat about taking pictures. I told him to call the police if I violated any law. He claimed that he was the police. I was escorted out. Then, there was this same guy in the parking lot waiting, and started to complain about something. Funny, I was the one who waited for almost half an hour for a cup of coffee, at a McDonald’s, a “fast” food restaurant, and he seemed to be the one who was unhappy. I told him to hush, more forcefully this time, and to this police impersonator as well, and left. What a night. I just wanted a coffee and take a break.

What can i say.. the online ordering platform was stuck on breakfast so could not order lunch/dinner on the app.. used the kiosk placed a $40 order and no receipt for said order..
Waited nearly 30 min for said order
The big hispanic lady was talking on her phone while filling drinks and putting food in the bags..
Did not wash hands or wear gloves during or after touching her nasty phone and continued to touch the food and drinks / lids.
Was calling all orders out in spanish so took us a minute to even realize it was our order.
Just over all a disgusting and horrible experience.

If I could leave a 0 star review I would! Supervisor at 8:40pm on 10/15/25 who claimed her name to be Marilú is by far the worst customer service representative there is no wonder the employees are rude, arrogant extremely entitled! I am no longer a local in Chula Vista, but I drive thru often I came in with my boys picked up a couple happy meals asked to use the restroom for what I was told NO! The guy said he had just cleaned it and they were not available that they like to keep them clean for the next shift! When I placed the order I asked the “manager” about the restroom policy and she said they were no longer available that I could wait 30minutes! By law you cannot operate a restaurant without working restrooms why the hell would they think it is appropriate to deny access to a paying customer????? She through the drink holder at me she is very lucky I am not the type to stoop down to her level after hours of driving had she done this on a different day I would’ve taught her a lesson! Her tone of voice demeanor was beyond me! I’d be ashamed to have this lady by any means leading my team as one leads by example! Naturally employees follow the drive thru cashier was rude tossed ketchup when asked politely for ketchup packets. McDonald’s do better ask better questions when hiring and or promoting ignorant insubordinate individuals to positions that are clearly to big to wear!

Placed an online order, I arrived on site. The manager working 02/03/2026 a male , told me that they didn’t have my order after doing everything correctly. I order McDonald’s everyday and this is the first time I had this issue. I believe they condone de fruading customers on this bait and switch tactic. I reported this store to McDonald’s corp and opening a fraud case with my bank because a billion dollar company and a terrible employee don’t deserve to deface and defraud customers .

If you like McDonald’s for an occasional coffee, ice cream, burger or some, greasy, and artery blocking treat like fries THEN DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION!!
1) Study Spanish before you go there. Be sure you have a translator to access if you can not communicate with their team that enjoy joking with one another rather than working the counter or speaking with customers.
2) Bring hand sanitizer or antibacterial wipes to sit, eat, to wipe things down.
3) Do not let the trash and filthy eating areas bother you.
4) Complain to the website numerous times about that specific location to get the freebies. Don’t worry about the workers. Nothing gets done anyway. It’s the Customer Satisfaction Survey. Remember when you bring it back with code filled out they will not understand if you speak English. This is where Spanish and a translator comes in handy!
5) Do not plan on using the bathroom!! Employees can use it but you will most likely not be able to. They will make an excuse up each time although it is supposed to be clean, available and open, or open if you request it for paying customers.
6) Enjoy the wait. Sometimes people that ordered food just congregate near pick-up counter staring and wondering what is going on while their employees are having such a wonderful time working casually and not stressed out over the pile of orders or customers staring and waiting on them.

I belive her name is vicky, the general manager started off with incorrectly bagging my mother’s order and then threw the sauce cup into my mom’s bag amd said there it is. When I made the comment to my mom that she was the general manager she got upset and started talking about us in Spanish not realizing Im Hispanic and understand what she’s saying. Then proceeds to tell me she won’t serve me which I won’t be back so that doesn’t matter, when I was told that I let her know I wasn’t sure how long she would have a job and she physically touched me and said dont worry. I really hope she is fired because I will be pressing legal actions.

The short manager was not polite. I had a gift of four cards, and my children were at home. She told me they should come with me so she could see them. This is truly shameful, and she did see the four cards.

I’m missing 2 big Macs from my order. I call the number on the receipt several times and no one picked up. I asked the employee if the order was complete and she said yes. Obviously she did not check. I want a refund McDonald’s!
