We ordered a Fully Loaded hotdog, Western bacon BBQ smash burger, an order of Truffle oil blue cheese fries, a fountain drink and a Tuberfizz brand rootbeer in a bottle. It came out to just over $40 with the tip.
The cashier/server’s service was top-notch. Like, WOW! Attentive, asking about the food, cleaning up. HE is the ONLY reason this review wasn’t 1 star. This man is a gem, for real.
It took 31 minutes to get our food after ordering. This is a travesty as we were the ONLY people waiting on food. The other table had already been served. Did the cook go on break? We didn’t even order a lot.
When the food came, I was surprised to see an “As Seen On Food Network” hotdog smaller than a cheap Oscar Myer Walmart wiener. It was badly overcooked, as seen in the pictures. Not a drop of juice left in it. It was wrapped a tiny piece of a potato skin that had covered maybe half before it went into the oil. The rest took the full brunt of deep fryer’s power turning it into a deadly weapon if thrown. The fixin’s on top were alright except the bacon was probably once good bacon. Before it was cooked to death. Not worth the double digit price tag, sorry. 3/10
My partner’s smash burger was smaller than a Wendy’s Jr. Bacon and had less meat. The cook had smashed it into a tiny little scrape of charbroiled meat(?) that was honestly pretty sad. It looked NOTHING like the picture. They gave it a 2/10 and said it wasn’t a smash burger, it was a smashed burger-flavored chip.
The blue cheese truffle oil fries were okay, but the order was tiny for the $$. They just threw some chunks of blue cheese and some green onions on top of well done fries. The truffle oil they added was good though and really the only saving grace. 6/10 cause that oil really was good.
We won’t be eating here again and for sure won’t be recommending it to anyone. Do better with the food, cause your service was on point.
p.s. Give that server a raise!
First off, the ambiance is fantastic. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable environment to enjoy your meal. The interior design strikes a perfect balance between casual and modern, making it an ideal place to unwind after a long day of meetings and training. The numerous TVs are a major plus, offering up a great selection of sports to watch while you chill with some amazing servers.
Now let’s talk about the service – it’s exceptional! The staff here are genuinely friendly and attentive, always ensuring that your needs are met without being intrusive. Wish they could go off a little from the menus to accommodate special drinks but I get it, there is a menu for a reason.
Speaking of the food, it’s simply fantastic! Selfish feedback, I’ve had the Chicago dog every time but switch up the appetizers. The Chicago dog is fantastic.
Overall, Frank’s Hotdog Haven has made my business trip much more enjoyable with its combination of great food, excellent service, and a fun atmosphere to catch a game. If you find yourself in the area, do yourself a favor and just go.
Oh and make sure you try the Deep Fried PB&J!
