It was abnormally busy for this early weekday lunch. Staff handled the rush with a smile and confidence. Food came out hot and fresh Colorado burger was very good . Fries hot and made with real potato. They complimented my Salted Carmel shake perfectly. Shake was made like an old fashion 1 where they leave the extra in a separate metal mixing cup for you to over indulge yourself. Compliments to the service staff and cook at Citrus Heights location

I’m on vacation with my boyfriend & we came here since there’s no smash burger around us. The service was really good. The server was kind and helpful & fun. My bf got the bacon brisket burger and he said it’s THE BEST BURGER , which i agree when i took a bite. Shakes were 10/10 & I’d recommend coming here if you want something authentic:)

Raylynn was beyond exceptional! She really cares and it shows. She greated every customer and doordash/pick person very warmly and let them know what was going on. She was extremely positive and hyped up her team….i assume shes a supervisor or manager and if shes not, she without a doubt needs to be!!! She is why i am writing this review, i dont normally review casual restaurants.
Also the food was great. Prepared very well. Burger had only an ever so slight pink and was still very hot. Fries cooked perfectly. Everything was wonderful but Raylynn is truly someone special she would excell in management here or anywhere she decides to go. Shed do great as a waitress and a nice restaurant as well. We’ll definitely be back to see Raylynn.

The lady acted like she needed three phds to figure out how to put my straw in the bag, which I did not even need in the bag. Then she stopped to fiddle with the display so I had to say excuse me, so I could go and sit down and eat my food. The one other person got full service at their table but I was invisible. There is not one thing special about Smashburgers except they might smash them to try to do something about the horrible beef quality. The tater tots with rosemary were interesting, but once you eat the Rosemary then you still have tater tots. The crinkle cut sweet potatoes were so engorged with grease I had to stop on the way home to find an emergency bathroom before there was an emergency! None of these places are worth it. They are bland and tasteless. Would be better if you could get the ingredients at home would be a lot cheaper and much better for you. And not have to break a $20 bill to eat lunch! The music was horrific something they would play at a nursery school maybe and way too loud. I left my garbage on the table so the poor lady could figure out how to actually work for her money.

Great space with a really genuine and energetic staff! Bummed that the Folsom location got shut down but the drive out to Sunrise is worth it for people and food like they have it here. 11/10 would recommend!
1/29/26 Edit: Came here on a separate night and was super impressed by how the crew handled themselves when a big ole rush came in. Line to the door and the two front of house workers were killer and kudos to the kitchen staff for being really quick with getting the food out! Seriously competent staff

Jessica was the cashier and she also helped make everything with the cook in the back, they both killed it!
Everything was hot, and delicious! We got a classic smash double, regular fries, scorchin chicken sandwich- add grilled jalapeño as well as scorchin hot fries- add chili cheese, added a banana shake on the way out. I was so satisfied with everything, and so was my boyfriend. Will be back!

The food was WONDERFUL! We had a good time sitting, eating and talking. This was our monthly GLO. Use to be 3 of us, however a very special friend to the both of us passed away almost two years ago and she is missed tremendously!! The two of us had a great lunch, talked alot and enjoyed each other’s company!!
