Been going to eat here for a very long time I’ll say about 2013. I moved out here and I tasted the breakfast and let me tell you that The chicken sausage is phenomenal. Spicy or not spicy any way that you get it in a burger and the tacos are my favorite. Or if you just get it with breakfast on a biscuit. The service from MamA is amazing. However, because the food is good and it’s a staple in the community Just know that you will possibly be waiting a while. I was saying maybe 30 minutes for two meals at the most. My Son likes their regular fried chicken as well.

This is definitely not the mamas. From the eighties or the nineties, the chicken way overcooked , and that’s pretty hard to do, red beans and rice taste like they came straight outThe can. Nice people though! And the chicken breast was so tough , I could barely chew it. I really hate to do this , but don’t waste your time or your money

Hadn’t been to Mamas since the covid shut down, but returned recently and was quite disappointed with my burger & fries order, as the buns were soggy, not enough fries. Maybe im use to five guys these days. But to pay almost $17 for what i got, without a drink is crazy work. Who likes a soggy bun on their burger ugh

Mama’s Chicken is a referred location that was highly recommended for their mild and spicy chicken sausages that you can buy in a 5lb or 2lb frozen in a box, or order from their as a take out meal…They also have a great mini market for desserts and seasoning packages for your own home made fried chicken, fish, and both seasonings for soups…I’ll revise my posting once I taste the sausages…lol

I purchased slices of cheesecake, butter cream cake, sweet potato pie and a tea cake. The cake was for me and the other items I gave to family members. The cake was sooo moist and delicious so I’m sure the other dessert items were as well. I also purchased a small box of Chicken sausage links ,I haven’t tried them yet but will update the review when I do.
UPDATE: the chicken sausage was amazing, it came in the form of link sausage but I took it out the casing and made patties from it. Very flavorful. Although they are around the corner from me, I still haven’t had a chance to get some more but I sure have been craving them

Wait 10 minutes in line to place order (or rather give order) then go wait 15 minutes to pay for order then go back to the counter for them to place my order and start cooking (huh???). Once I waited 15minutes to pay I thought to myself at least my food should be ready shortly. Only to find out “sir u must bring ticket back before we start cooking your order”…1st and only time going there. The setup is very inefficient unless u have nothing to do but stand in lines. Got a burger (hella greasy) and chix sausage with mustard and onions. Presentation of the sausage left a lot to be desired…

I bought the Chicken and Turkey links. They are both terrible. The links and dry and taste like some dry meat with red pepper thrown in them. They don’t have any flavor or seasoning.

I’ve only purchased chicken links and they are bomb. Other’s I’ve tried are either too salty or too smushy as far as the filling. These are packed with chicken and give you that snap when you cook ’em! They also make turkey and beef links. Check ’em put!
