I loved visiting this place! So much that I came to eat twice! Once on my own and once with 6 co workers. The food was so good, I simply loved everything I had! The cheese wheel special is absolutely a culinary delight! When busy, the staff was lacking where there was a wait for even water, but the food certainly makes up for this! Our only complaint was the butternut squash ravioli was not enough food for a vegetarian man….

WOW! First time in SanDiego and I think we found a fabulous Italian restaurant. Get the artichoke appetizer, unbelievable! It included the stems, and it was awesome! Sea Bass was delicious and the special was a cracked Maine lobster with shrimp and fettuccini noodles. It was a great meal! And you’re lucky to have Sierra as your waitress. Very pleasant, she goes out of her way to make sure you’re comfortable and happy with your meal. And if her tables don’t need her immediately, I saw that she stands in the background watching her tables and anticipating someone needs her. You don’t see that everyday. We may stop by again tomorrow!

We grabbed drinks and a few small bites here while we waited for the traffic in the area to die down from a march. This restaurant is huge and has a lot of seating. We were seated right away and our waitress was very attentive. Service was good and friendly.
I did like my limoncello spritzer. It was perfect for the warm weather we were having. The appetizer portions were on the small side but they were tasty too.
Will have to return to try other dishes of their menu. Everything did look very delicious and the restaurant was full of people.

Huge shoutout to our amazing server, Fernando! On my first night in San Diego, I was just wandering around Little Italy and decided to check out this restaurant. I looked at the menu outside without realizing they were about to close, but Fernando was super kind and still let us dine in. He gave us great food recommendations and even shared some local tips on what to see around San Diego. He really took care of me and my friend, checking in often to make sure everything was good. Such a kind guy he honestly made my first night in San Diego so much better. The food and cocktails were buzzing!
I loved it so much that I came back the next day (Friday) for dinner! Definitely recommend making a reservation on weekends because it gets packed. The weekend menu is awesome especially the cheese wheel experience, which was so fun to watch and tasted amazing. The food reminded me of my trip to Italy so authentic and flavorful.
Overall, great service, delicious food, and just an amazing vibe. This spot honestly made my San Diego trip even better!

Dave makes the best Aperol spritz ever. This place was great, it wasn’t busy the time we were there so they really did take great care of us. I wish we could’ve stayed for food, but we had plans later to meet up with people along the coast. I love the decorations and all the employees seemed very friendly.
I WOULD RECOMMEND

What an experience! The best pasta dish we’ve ever have ever had! Highly recommend the cheese wheel with whatever special they have! Also, ask for Davide! He gave us 5 star service! Excellent server! Helped us with the menu and gave us recommendations. I had the most delicious Tiramisu martini! My husband loved the cannoli’s! We loved it! A must if you’re visiting Little Italy in San Diego.

A very pleasant place to enjoy a great meal. The dishes are high quality, generous in portion size, and full of great flavor and seasoning. The lunch menu is reasonably priced—around $20, including soup or salad and an entrée. Overall, an excellent value for the quality of food and atmosphere.

1/10 dont bother coming. Food poisoning possible. Alec the manager originally came & and introduced us to the table. Our server though didn’t wanna be there & was hoping the other staff would just stop by enough in rotation to cover her tables. She’d disappear to chit chat w co workers & do her silverware so never around or back facing her tables. Food was left in the expo every chance, it was bad, cold, & sloppy put together mush. She warned us of the grease on all the plates & ment it! There were puddles of grease if you lift your plate and if you try to grab one you’d be covered we had to sit way longer then we wanted 2 hours or so. We tried to order a pizza after 3 cold plates of food thinking how could they mess up pizza? The answer? Leaving it in expo till cold. We originally set out to go to the restaurant above but the wait was two hours while this place didn’t have a wait. It was for a reason. Cute restaurant. Bad wait staff , bar was killin it! & nothing was clean. The glasses they leave on the table , silverware (mind you they’re rolling it by hand why not check it?), no paper towels at alll for bathroom sinks that are shared in the common area for men & women. Bathrooms clearly not checked upon. Over 100$ for food poisoning & a awful time. Table checks should be done when about to re seat it was gross. Never checked on again by manager but he happened to check on the tables around us, maybe he knew we got a bad server? Photo added cold food looks great! Tastes like wet cardboard.

This place was a total win. The crème brûlée pancakes alone are worth the visit—perfect balance of creamy and caramelized. Great staff, welcoming and attentive, and the vibe is awesome. The location just adds to the whole experience. Highly recommend!
