About 10 minutes after sitting down, he came to take our order. I ordered the Burrito Grande with chicken. He repeated it back incorrectly as the Burrito Grande Fajita. I politely told him, “No, I don’t think so , that’s the option below what I want.” Instead of simply clarifying, he argued with me and insisted that the Burrito Grande with chicken *is* the fajita version. It’s not. I can clearly read the menu , the fajita version includes peppers and onions, which I did not want. I reiterated my order, but as shown on the receipt, he still rang it in incorrectly.
When the food arrived, I was served the Burrito Grande Fajita with peppers and onions. I barely ate it because it wasn’t what I ordered. The lettuce was old and mushy, and overall it lacked flavor.
To make matters worse, the person I was with (on a first date, mind you) found a rock in his food. That completely ruined the rest of the experience for me. I was honestly distraught and couldn’t stop thinking about it.
The service was awful. The food was awful. The location and style of the restaurant, however, were beautiful , it’s a very nice venue.
Please train your staff accordingly. The time spent standing by the kitchen door talking and laughing could clearly be better used on improving service and attention to detail.
We were excited to come here and we love Mexican food and often go out of our way to get it when we go to Atlanta or LA. I grew up eating it. This was awful. Maybe the good reviews are by people who have had so many margaritas everything tastes fine to them. The energy seemed good and the place seemed clean. But I won’t return. I don’t think the cooks know what they are doing and it is too expensive to be served trash.
We didn’t have that much for lunch and was shocked when we got the bill and it was $75+.
We were charged for dirty margaritas at $17 apiece which is not what we ordered. The happy hour margaritas were less than $4.00. When we questioned this we were told that a jalapeño margarita is a dirty margarita. Obviously, the server should have clarified that when we ordered. The check out server called the manager and she wouldn’t budget. She said we should have questioned it when we were served. I get jalapeño margaritas at every Mexican restaurant that I’ve been to and have never had to question what I ordered and wasn’t ripped off. I will never eat at this restaurant again !
