Family owned and operated Italian pizzeria serving pizza, pasta, and subs, along with beer and wine, plus wings and desserts, too! Family friendly environment, with one Fast and Furious video game, a claw machine, and prize machine. Multiple TV’s and table seating with ability to have large groups. We also have outdoor seating where dogs are welcome. We have Monday through Friday lunch specials. And we can also take catering orders with 24 hour advanced notice. Very casual pizzeria in a friendly environment. Located on Main Street in Avon Park.

My first time trying them as I was just wanting a good Italian meatball sub. I don’t usually write reviews if I’m dissatisfied but this one hit hard. The subroll was under baked and very doughy to the point that any cook should have noticed right away as soon as they cut the roll and chosen another one. I took two bites and gave up. I will try and finish baking it myself later, but that’s probably not going to work out very well. The meatballs were pretty good, but definitely needed much more sauce and mozzarella .. The sub was a mushy, doughy mess inside.. A little more time popped back in the oven probably would have fixed it but seems like someone just didn’t care. Very very disappointing.. I planned on trying the pizza next, but think I will pass on those prices to maybe receive something else inedible. They seem to just be on auto pilot with no quality control

We enjoyed a great lunch at Little Italy. It was our first visit, but won’t be our last. The Meat Stromboli was the best stromboli I have ever had! The marinara sauce that came on the side was truly outstanding. Staff was friendly and helpful. Large, comfortable dining area to enjoy your food. So glad we found this place! Outdoor patio available for when the weather is nice. Highly recommended.

One of my favorite places to eat in Avon Park. The pizza is amazing, the Hot Italian Sub… PERFECTION!
The staff is always amazingly friendly too!
They catered an event for me in May and it was all incredible! I ordered way too much food and almost every person took a to-go tray home, they loved it so much!
We will definitely have them cater again next year!

Nicely baked thin crust pizza with just the right proportion of ingredients. The calzone dough was thin, lightly dusted with oregano and cheese, perfectly baked. Subs’ sauce is sweet delicious! Will definitely order again. Their pizza gets better and better, perfectly baked, delicious sauce with sprinkles of oregano and garlic and a fluffy crust, took us back to Jersey! Went there for lunch and what can I say worst lasagna ever… you can buy better in Publix ( see first picture) it tasted as bad as it looked
Cheese pizza ( the one slice ) was great
But the spaghetti and meat sauce was so average it tasted just like tomato’s and no real flavors added
lastly the last 2 pictures they call this Stromboli they got to be kidding me it’s a sub
What a joke they really need to go and learn how to cook the Italian way as it’s an insult to Italian food
I’ve never walked out of an Italian restaurant hungry before

Three of us ordered a 14″ pizza with ham, pepperoni & sausage, an order of garlic knots & 3 fountain drinks (they only come in one size). Total was $40+ dollars. You order at the counter & pay right then. They give you a little table number tent & your cups for soda. You seat yourself wherever you want & you get your own drinks. They bring your items to you at your table with a handful of paper plates. That’s the extent of any service you get here. They make your order fresh as you order, however to us, the food was just ok. Nothing fantastic & nothing worth going back for again.
Since I can’t respond to your reply, I’m editing my original review. No where did I say that $40 for 3 people was too much. I simply stated what we ordered and how much it cost. That was it. No where did I state that we were expecting fine dining. You offer paper plates, paper cups and plastic silverware, correct? Those are facts. Your responses to negative customer reviews are extremely snarky. As a business owner, you should be able to accept that not everyone is going to enjoy the taste of your food or like your restaurant without having to give a snarky response to them. The point of a review is to give an honest opinion from my perspective whether it’s good or bad. Your whole response that just gives another layer of ick on top of it all.

It just was one of those days where it could go wrong it did but winding up here at Little Italy was the best right thing that happened. The food was absolutely delicious. My kids are pizza connoisseurs and they gave it . Thanks again for your great hospitality and awesome food.
