We Have eaten here often on over the years and have loved it ,however Saturday changed our mind for good! My two daughters decided to take me out for breakfast. Before anybody else even complained, I already realized my eggs were overcooked, and my home fries were gross. They were bottom of the barrel what looked like old dried burnt bits in it. Then my one daughter started complaining about her home fries, Grits tasted like water, But what really got me…. My other daughter ordered an omelette with extra cheeses. For some reason, this omelette did not seem to have extra cheese (it didn’t taste good) so she sent it back. The cook, I’m assuming owner , Then sent it right back out, said The cheese was put in it and REFUSED to make another one. So my daughter pushed it away, she didn’t wanna eat it as It wasn’t good. They refused to take it off the bill. So the server then stopped even coming around and sent a different server to take care of us at the end. Still left around $15 for a tip as it was not the server’s fault however this place of business is ridiculous!! They will not take care of you if something‘s wrong with your food.

My daughter and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday in March of 2025. We were seated quickly without having to wait at about 12:30pm.
The server was friendly and helped my daughter decide on which pancake breakfast to choose. I opted for the Country Fried Steak and we both had plenty to eat with leftovers to take home.
This is a little hidden gem in Belleview and is worth stopping by to get a good meal with some sweet tea.

My family and I absolutely loved everything about this homey restaurant!
Even for it to be as busy as it was, we received prompt and courteous service. The food was amazing! The croffle with strawberry drizzle (croissant cooked in a waffle iron) was so light, airy, and delicious. We liked that the menu offered unique options.

The well water is off. You can taste it in the food. The chopped steak was really good. It was busy but we were put in a corner and forgot about. I really wanted to like this place.

The waitresses were pleasant and attentive, cute decor, however the food was not worth it. No salt or seasoning on fries, no sauce for the shrimp, Reuben was dry and lacked much of anything on the sandwich, sweet tea was not sweet and flavor was not what southern sweet tea usually is . Avoid at all cost. To top it off a black hair in my 0late and I am white headed!
I ordered tomatoes for my burger showed them the core was what I received and they sent more. Secret must be what they do with the rest of the tomatoes.
Food delivered was just placed in middle of table no asking who ordered what and if we needed something.
Burger was ordered well done and came out bleeding , NOT COOL.
ONLY THING EDIBLE WERE FRIES, I AM CONFIDENT THEY MUST HAVE JUST PICKED THEM UP AT WALMART WITH THEIR CONDIMENTS. . Ketchup was a guess with no label.
Waitress said she doesn’t eat here, that should have been our first clue to Run.
Avoid at all cost most disappointing breakfast brunch place I have been to in over 30 states!

After eating breakfast here, I’m looking back at the reviews where some people complain about a waitress that takes the order and never comes back, has an attitude, etc, and I suspect we got that waitress. Nobody gave her name in the reviews, assuming it’s the same one, but I suspect it is. I’m not afraid to mention her name, Denise. It was our first time there, so we had a few questions about the menu. She seemed irritated by us asking anything. She took our order and never returned to ask how our meal was, if we needed drink refills, etc. A different waitress brought the food, and that was our last interaction with any staff for the remainder of the meal. When we came up to pay our bill, the young man asked how it was. We told him we liked the food very much, but the service was terrible. He was very apologetic, and he got us drinks to go. We told him we’ll be back, but we’ll specifically request not to have her wait on us ever again!

Me and my husband came to try farmhouse but the experience that I thought was going to be great wasn’t at all? We ordered our food Noone came to refill our cups of coffee waiting on our food our food was at the windows at least for 6mins I told my husband our food is at the windows watch that our food will come out cold as soon they put it down I told her take it back my hashbrown are cold my chicken steak didn’t tasted good it tasted like it was cooked in dirty oil hashbrown was greasy had to ask for a refill of coffee the girls was more taken orders then taken the food out the window & severing it to the customer hot ? will didn’t get that service at all not only the waitress spilled water on floor didn’t bother to pick it up she keeped stepping over it with the other 2 waitresses unprofessional I was afraid that one of the old ladies will slip and fall and hurt themselves ..I understand making money and giving great service to your customers but making money with NO CUSTOMERS SERVICE you want people to come back not me will not come back not looking forward to this again

Always really good no matter what we order. Most recently, I had the chicken fried steak , gravy, grits, om eggs, and a biscuit. My friend had scrambled eggs, bacon, grits , biscuits, and a pecan pancake. We both left with enough leftovers for another meal. Friendly, great servers , the cooks do an excellent job. Thank you to everyone behind the scenes to make this such a great family restaurant.
