Was not impressed steak was super over done, and had to power through it, could tell by looking at it when it came out it was charred, so the quality control was lacking. Also had ravioli that tasted reheated, edges of noodles were hard and inedible. Had bacon wrapped scallops— they were OKAY at best. Maybe flash fried? Scallops were unevenly heated, and bacon was VERY crispy and hot.. For the cost, it was not worth it. The restaurant was clean , and service was good. But I would personally not come back here .

Classy, upscale restaurant. Our server was great and took good care of us. My Old Fashioned was alright. The salmon was good. The ambience was nice. It was a busy night for dinner, so it’s a popular place. Overall, a nice place to get a good meal.

Ordinarily our family enjoys Sophia’s, we often have family meals there. The food is good and the service is usually good. We went tonight on a rainy evening. Toward the end of our meal I felt water dripping on my head from the ceiling. When I told the server she just kind of laughed and said they usually try not to use the booth when it is raining. There was no apology nor concern. It was a surprising and disappointing response.

1st. They have new hours not reflected on google, closing at 9 instesd of 10. (We arrived at 8 pm on the dot.
2nd. The ordering process was very rushed. We had to ask for napkins and utensils when our apps were served. (It felt like our server was in a rush to get us in & out)
We ordered drinks, appetizers & dinner. The drinks and appetizers were excellent.
My husband’s ravioli was very good.
My chicken modiga was horribly overcooked. I asked for a steak knife, explaining how tough it was, and couldn’t cut it with the steak knife. Didn’t eat the chicken. No comment or concern from the server. The sauce and pasta it was served with were great.
3rd. We came here specially for their dessert menu. The server took our plates and brought the check. Not asking how the food was or if we needed anything else. We left without dessert.
The food has a lot of potential, and I’d love to come back and give them a 2nd try.

I had dinner in Sophia’s with a colleague while visiting for work. We were recommended to eat in this place by a few people. And it did not disappoint. We sat on the bar and the bartender that served us was very friendly and great. We also enjoyed the artworks on the walls.
We ordered Filet Porto for appetizer and it was absolutely amazing. I had the Mediterranean Chicken Pasta and it was tasty. Overall, we had an amazing time.

Wow! What, A, Find! This place was absolutely wonderful! I ordered the smoked chicken carbonara and it was so well prepared and it was delectable had my mouth watering.
I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in town looking for great Italian food, I didn’t have a chance to try any of the appetizers, but the house bread was very good.

This place is amazing! It’s perfect for special occasions, big and small. It’s pricey, but that’s expected of a place like this. It’s has a really nice atmosphere, staff is very polite and the food is incredible. Their pasta is some of the best I have ever had! I will definitely keep coming back.

I was disappointed personally. For a $20+ dollar chicken dish I would expect they’re grilling chicken rather than using precooked frozen strips. Folks liked it because the portions were big and they didn’t care that the food came out of a freezer, so we’ll give this 3*. Quality is on par with Olive Garden and other chains with slightly nicer atmosphere.

I moved here from St Louis about 4 years ago ago. Sophia’s was one of my fav. Places to dine. When the location changed, i was curious to see what is the new location is like. First time i went was must’ve been closer to their move to this new location. I was not impressed, the atmosphere was totally different, from a nice dinner venue to a very casual and far from my expectations.
However, i went for lunch today. Much better setup, the stuff and food more like it use to be. I know most people like to go out with their flip flops and very casual clothing and now i know why they had to make a change. This is a college town and most people like casual life. So, for what’s worth, i am glad that the dining area is a bit better than it was!!
