Their lobster roll is hands down one of the best — loaded with fresh lobster, perfectly dressed, and simply delicious. The clam chowder is rich, ultra-creamy, and packed with clams in every bite (exactly how New England chowder should be).
Today I tried the haddock, and wow. The portion was huge — easily close to ¾ of a pound. Perfectly grilled with seasoned breadcrumbs on top, flavorful, tender, and cooked just right.
For dessert, I went with a lobster tail. Loved the overall experience — super flaky and crispy on the outside. The shell was a bit thicker than expected, but still had that signature crunch, with a creamy layer tucked between the outer shell and the filling.
I had two Sushi rolls 8pc each, The Red Dragon Roll and The Firecracker roll. Paired with a 9oz glass of Mountain Cuvee.
For dessert I tried their lobster tail*, with coffee, but the star in my opinion was the coffee. Better than I was expecting.
*Side note on the dessert it didn’t detract from my overall experience.
it wasn’t bad but, I dont recommend it. The lobster tail ( dessert) its a creme filled puffed pastry with strawberries.
It was hard to chew, hard on my teeth. I had it in my mind that the dessert was supposed to be similar raspberry turnover or a Pillsbury biscuit in that it might be soft, crispy and flaky. Instead, the mouthfeel had a pasta that didn’t finish cooking or the burnt crust of a pie feeling, hard but edible. The pasty cream filling was good and so were the strawberries. The dessert itself i’d give a 5/10.
We had the lunch lobster roll, the lunch shrimp roll, pokey and popcorn shrimp. All of it was spectacular! There were big chunks of lobster in the lobster roll and I certainly wasn’t expecting that. The popcorn shrimp tasted way better than anything I’ve had before, and we travel and eat a lot.
I had a pretty extensive drink menu, including some beautiful nonalcoholic cocktails. It wasn’t super crowded and it was quiet enough to be able to talk which I always appreciate. We will definitely be back!
The Waiter was nice and polite ; but the food the calamari were afwall ; the black cod was full of oil ; gave few bites but was impossible to eat ;the potatoes judge for yourself! Now the clams linguini was really tasty if wasn’t for the amount of sauce in it ..I ate what I could from the top “dry part and few bites from the bottom sauce what later on made me really sick ..was all night with stomach pain . Tuna tartar and the shrimp cevice was good . And decided not have any desert as the desapointmtent was already enough. I wish I have read previous reviews before booking…most complaints are about how food declined …
