Review for Aldo’s Italian Restaurant – Baby Shower Event
We recently celebrated my niece’s baby shower at Aldo’s Italian, and I can’t speak highly enough of the entire experience.
From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect.
The event was beautifully organised – from the stunning balloon decor by Sarah at party projects , the team at Aldo’s were accommodating to Sarah, and to the seamless setup of the space.
The staff at Aldo’s were beyond amazing: friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to help, making sure the whole event ran smoothly.
Nothing was ever too big or too small – every detail was handled with such care and warmth.
The food was, as expected, delicious. Authentic Italian dishes full of flavour and served piping hot – the garlic king prawns are a must try – thank me later
What stood out most was the attention to detail and the way the staff made the mother-to-be feel so at ease. It was a perfect celebration made just for her.
Thoughtful touches throughout the event added to the experience and made it one to remember.
A huge thank you to Aldo’s for making such a meaningful occasion even more special. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team.

My first visit,was bigger than I thought but very well set out and tastefully decorated.We were there for my Daughter’s Birthday and there were 9 of us.Ordered drinks and they arrived quickly. The food when it came was well presented and pleasing to the eye,hot and tasty.The menue had a lot of choice and you could have 2 courses for £19.95.
It was a very busy night when we went,a little noisy but didn’t effect the service at all.
We all enjoyed and i would be happy to retun.

This was our first visit and will definitely not be our last.
We were greeted with a very warm welcome from the moment we stepped through the door. It was a very busy Saturday night around 7.30 pm, but the staff were so attentive, friendly, and treated you like family.
We were seated straight away, and our drinks order was taken. The waiter took time to go through non-alcoholic options for myself, with me being pregnant. The drinks took no more than a few minutes to arrive, and our food order was taken. Again, the waiting staff were spot on offering advice with food allergies and alternative options.
The food arrived in a very reasonable time. It was exactly as asked for. Presented beautifully, great portion sizes, cooked to each of our preferences, perfect temperature, and absolutely delicious.
Although the restaurant was extremely busy, it still kept a very intimate atmosphere and felt warm and cosy at our table for 2.
Waiting staff checked if everything was to our liking, chatted, and offered drinks top ups without any prompting from ourselves.
We opted to order desserts these again, were presented beautifully, and tasted amazing.
The whole evening was such a lovely experience from start to finish. The staff I can not praise enough. Yes, some might say “well they are only doing their job,” but for me, it was them, their attitudes, their attentiveness, and their passion that made our whole experience what it was for us.

Visited Aldo’s Italian Restaurant many times. The food is amazing full of flavour and served in generous portions. Every member of staff is brilliant: very attentive and they look after you all evening without ever making you feel rushed. The owner and Matthew are fantastic and both took the time to chat with us after our meal. Aldo himself always comes over to say hello, no matter how busy he or the restaurant is. It’s well worth a visit definitely book a table!

Can’t believe I’ve not been to this place already! After hearing great things we took the whole family on a Sunday evening. Food was top notch and the service was fantastic! Friendly, funny, lovely guys who made a fuss of the kids. Will be back!

I visited last night with my family and was really impressed with the food and service. My mum is currently on crutches and the staff couldn’t have been more considerate, ensuring she had easy access to our table and was comfy throughout the meal. The waiter even asked which leg was injured so he could ensure she was sat comfortably. Before we even had to ask, he made sure she had a clear exit route when we were leaving as the restaurant had got busy at this point. Fabulous service and really made her feel welcome, thank you ♥️

Me and my son couldn’t decide between the lasagne and a chicken and garlic pizza , I asked for chillies on as well . We mentioned during ordering that we were sharing and they brought the lasagne out in two smaller dishes which was ideal they were both delicious.i also had sticky toffee pudding I asked for it with cream OMG it was to die for .the prices were reasonable . atmosfeer was brilliant two people had birthdays and they were brought cakes out with a firework in and everyone in the restaurant sang to them .I enjoyed my evening .

A very busy local italian restaurant serving good food at very affordable prices through set meal deal prices.
2 and 3 course costings, which cover the whole of the menu items. Some do attract an added cost such as steaks.
The service is good and although the restaurant is packed your food arrives promptly.
A very good venue if you are a big group.
