☕️ This Starbucks on Ashford Dunwoody Road has such a relaxing atmosphere—it’s a great place to unwind, catch up on some work, or just enjoy a quiet coffee break.

The vibe is calm and comfortable, with a clean and well-kept space that feels welcoming. My drink was made just right, and everything from the layout to the lighting made it a pleasant visit. Definitely one of the more peaceful Starbucks locations I’ve been to. 5 stars for the chill experience!

Believe the reviews on Yelp—this Starbucks in Georgia is the worst. The restrooms stink, there are roaches and bugs everywhere, and they don’t clean properly, creating a serious risk of cross-contamination. The floors, counters, and equipment all looked dirty, and the overall environment felt unhygienic and unsafe.

The customer service is terrible. The baristas are rude, unhelpful, and dismissive. I asked Kiera to refill the oil in the machine after bringing three drinks. She initially gave me the oil but didn’t fill it, and when she finally did, the interaction became tense and rude.

I also watched staff mistreat a homeless person. One of the employees involved was Kiera, and the other didn’t have a visible name tag. While asking for information from corporate, a manager told an employee to walk away simply for asking a question. I even took pictures to document the situation.

Overall, the service is horrible, the baristas are rude, and the store is dirty, unsafe, and completely unprofessional. Avoid this location if you value cleanliness, safety, and polite service.

Kiera has a horrible attitude!

I order from this location a lot so I don’t want to be too harsh because my orders are right 90% of the time. But multiple times within the last couple of months I’ve received dairy milk in my lattes and flat whites instead of oat milk. One time I was in person so I understand the barista not hearing me, but this time it was for a delivery, so the printed label on the cup said oat milk. I understand how busy you guys are and I’m sure you’re doing the best you can. But pretty please, from someone who will be suffering the rest of the day, double check the ingredients for people like me with allergies thank you for all you do otherwise.

The staff and everything is great, but whoever designed this Starbucks must’ve been a little confused..They should really have a separate entrance for people who just want to go into the store. The drive-through line is always backed up and it’s hard to just enter the parking lot because you can’t see who’s exiting bc of the hill.. I Made a Starbucks order, but now I can’t even pick it up because of this hot mess

The location is a nightmare to get into. The drive thru lane ends up blocking access for those that are willing to get out of the car. Service can be slow inside as it seems the focus is the drive thru. Folks are fairly nice.

Paid almost $5 for one bagel, ordered it toasted with cream cheese and butter on the side and neither were put into my bag 🙁 didn’t realize until I was at work. I work hard for my money and it sucks wasting it like that.

We visited this location on a busy Thursday morning. Even though the drivethru line was long we got our drinks quickly. The employees were very friendly and welcoming. The store was really clean and appears to be nice to relax at.

What a beautiful, peaceful place to hang out and drink coffee! It’s probably the most beautiful Starbucks I’ve ever visited. Not crowded. Plenty of room to stretch out and work- but like all Starbucks the music is too loud for my taste. The drive through is very busy.

There is a nice outdoor seating area with an interesting piece of history; An old brick chimney from a nearby farmhouse stands in the middle of the outdoor seating area as a reminder that this area was once farmland. A Bronze plaque tells the story of the chimney. The plaque reads:

This chimney was once part of a tenant house owned by
Stephen Spruill (born 1870), who owned over one
thousand acres of land in DeKalb and Fulton County.
The tenant house, circa 1900, was located just south
of here, close to where I-285 is located today.
In the 1960’s the house burned, but the chimney
remained until it was preserved and moved to this spot.
The chimney remains as a reminder that this land was
once the home of farms, pastures, tenant houses,
and pioneer families.

My first visit to this Starbucks was midmorning on a Saturday. My second visit was Sunday at 8:30am and I was disappointed to find only the drive through open. There was no indiction as to why the store was closed.

This is the worst location in Atlanta. The drive through is backed up so far you can’t even get into the parking lot. Even ordering ahead I’ve waited for as long as 20-30 minutes at the counter waiting for my drink. Slow, slow, slow.
