I have enjoyed the great burgers, BBQ & shakes here all my life! This is the place to get that great meal or sandwich you’ve been longing for since all those other vintage burger joints closed down. Mrs. Walker and her family provide great service and remind you that “fast food” doesn’t HAVE to taste like cardboard! The drive-through window is real—not a speaker and a clown face! Highly recommend to everyone!

This place is so good! We stopped here on our road trip this summer and it was so good! Got a double cheeseburger, onion rings, fried green tomatoes and chocolate milkshakes. The best! Cash only but that wasn’t an issue for us. This place takes you back in time and has an old time feel. It was great and friendly service.

Walkers came up on my memories today. I live in California and every time we come visit my dad Huey Montgomery we would eat here. Best cheeseburger and tator tots. I miss the cheeseburgers and my dad.

Tucked in the tiny town of Marked Tree is Walker’s Dairy Freeze. Growing up, my family consumed their takeout at least once a week (if not more). Their chicken strip sandwiches are to die for! Best served with mayo and tomato. Trust me, you can’t go wrong. Not to mention… No one in the area can touch Walker’s Ice Cream! Between the vanilla soft serve cones to the hot fudge sundaes to the butterscotch milkshakes, stopping by there is a must if you’re ever in the area!
