We are new to the Knoxville area and have been looking for that classic greasy spoon, mom-and-pop style diner to enjoy breakfast. I recently found this place on Google and decided to give it a try.

We both ordered the Western omelette, and to our surprise, it came with sausage instead of the usual ham we’re used to. It was different, but still very tasty! The employees were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was clean, welcoming, and surprisingly charming for a small, locally owned spot.

I also appreciated the large gravel parking lot, which makes parking easy, and the little drive-thru for ice cream is such a nice touch when you don’t feel like going inside. Overall, a delightful experience, and we’ll definitely be back.

We’ve been twice. Food is good for a small diner. Fries were flavorless but burger and roast beef were good. Ordered the same meals both trips and the portions were different sizes each time (smaller the second time)
Was disappointed in the hot fudge Sunday
🙁 the “brownie” was a dry cake square.
Service was good.

This is my second visit and it didn’t disappoint. It’s a great experience. Mom and Pop kind of place. I’m 64 so I really appreciate this kind of food and atmosphere. It reminds me of the diner’s from 40 years ago where everyone in town knew everybody else and we all congragated young and old. I highly recommend this place to anyone who likes country style cooking like grandma used to make. Beans, greens, cornbread, mac & cheese and chicken fried steak. It’s very good!

Shh, tell no one. This is a little spot in the middle of nowhere that needs to be protected. So I’m trusting you not to spread the word. But….

Burgers are well seasoned, hand pressed. No frozen patties here. Toppings were fresh and generous. A really good burger.

Breakfast: I’m country so you better know how to fry bologna if you have it on the menu. They didn’t disappoint. Egg yokes runny… you know how hard it is to get a runny yoke. But the star was that biscuit… that’s a cloud straight from heaven.

Pros: Price, friendly staff, breakfast all day, clean.

Cons: Not convenient unless you live out here. They only serve pancakes in the morning

First time I’ve been here and it did not disappoint. Very friendly staff, fast service and great food. Probably the best biscuit I’ve ever had, along with a great bacon/cheese omelet and perfect tater tots. Old timey diner feel, lots of locals came while I was here. 5 stars !

This is a quaint place with a very small dining room. Food was good. Order taken correctly, asked for no onions on my burger, it came with onions. I picked them off. Burger had way too much sauce. I’m all for “sloppy” burgers but this was too much. Waiter was very nice. Ordered specialty sundae that came in large Styrofoam cup and was basically just ice cream. Parking lot is gravel with large holes, be careful if going at night.

Pretty good little diner. A little cramped. It seemed like a devoted clientele. The sandwiches are pretty good. I could have used a few more tots.

The food was good. No complaints there. The service though was strange. We asked about the special on the board (listed as the “all in” or “fully involved”) but the folks behind the counter had no idea what it was. Which seems odd since it was well into the day, so surely at least one person had ordered it. We were asked if we’re dining in, we said yes, still got the food in to go containers and had to go ask for silverware. Maybe they’d just had a long day.

(( Breakfast was great )) Shakes & Sundaes are sooo good too with a HUGE variety… Good ole Southern comfort food including great burgers! Fried, dried & laid to the side, lol. We know it’s difficult to keep good help, but they do a really good job most of the time! We’ll be back again!

Thoroughly enjoyed this little hidden gem of a restaurant!!! The food was absolutely delicious!!! I had the Southwest Burger with tots and it was phenomenal!!! My wife had the hot roast beef sandwich with Mashed potatoes and fried okra and she really enjoyed it, however it only had one slice of bread, so not really a sandwich. For desert I had a banana split Twister and my wife had a turtle sundae and it was the perfect ending for a delicious meal!!!
Kaitlyn was our server and she was fantastic!!!
The atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable and everything was extremely clean.
Definitely worth going off the beaten path to have an incredible meal.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!
