Great breakfast! Finally tried the new-ish sandwich biscuit meal and it was very good. Also tried the loaded home fries which I do think are worth the minor up charge. Our waitress was extremely attentive and my coffee never got cold (or empty).
Not too busy on a random Monday mid-morning. Food was all perfectly cooked and it was a nice, relaxing atmosphere.

The place is quiet for early dinner. I’m here with two other people. My order came out good, but the food for the other two had problems with them. The server, Lisa, couldn’t even remember who had what drink. She keyed in the wrong order for one of the two messed up orders (put in combo instead), and had cheese one the other order when asked for no cheese. Don’t get me wrong, Lisa is very sweet, and she did apologize several times for the mistakes. I do understand mistakes happen. I’m not trying to get her in trouble.

This was not the cleanest Bob Evans that I have ever visited. The waitress was nice but the kitchen was slow. They have a weird little “country-ish” store to compete with Cracker Barrel. I included photos of two impressive products.

Tonight I ordered the family sized soups now yes they were good but they definitely not family sized I ate the whole tub of vegetable soup myself and I’m not a big fella. So that’s why I say 3 yes food was good just not family sized like they advertise.

Went as party of 7 at 530pm Saturday to celebrate a birthday. Sat in a “nook” at one end of dining room somewhat isolated from other traffic. Relatively quiet atmosphere, suitable for lively discussion. Piped in music (we avoid) was limited to foyer and checkout area. No distracting video screens on the wall. Restaurant was clean and food was fresh and served promptly, about 20 minutes after we ordered. Some reviews complain about cold food; our hot dishes were not super hot but warm enough. Best liked were dinner berry salad, pot roast dinner, several breakfast dishes (nice to have available all day) and fried shrimp. One side dish, mac and cheese, could have been warmer and cheesier; it looked and tasted as if it had sat on a counter for too long after being dished out. Server was knowledgeable about menu items and helped one of our party navigate dietary restrictions. We were not hurried to pay and leave and felt comfortable staying after meal about a half hour to chat; restaurant was about half full at the time. Men’s room was clean and average for amenities and space. The little store area near the entry had the usual signature items and BE souvenirs – exact inventory is always pot luck at BE, and prices are OK. We will definitely return.

On two separate occasions I have ordered the chicken strips meal, and each time I’ve gotten them they are deep fried too long. End pieces are hard and the rest is over crispy. Won’t be ordering these again. The rest of the meals I’ve ordered have been good! I like Bob Evans just not their chicken strips.

Wife and I stayed at hotel across street. FIRST time we wanted carry out and simple soup&salad took 45 min.. Second time we dined in and it wasn’t busy but had to wait for awhile to be seated. Once our waiter Paul greeted us things started improving. The food was fine.
