The food was good flavor was absolutely phenomenal. We did get two steaks and they were a little on the tougher side meat wise what flavor was definitely there and we had blooming onion and that thing was humongous. We had salads with our steak and they were all fresh. The only complaint that we had was the meat was just a little bit tough. But the manager did fix the bill for us because of that experience. We did not want him to do that but he said the meat is usually tender so let me take care of part of the bill so he gave us a discount. We will definitely be back to eat here again. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm. Very clean restaurant so we’re the restrooms. Staff was exceptional… paid attention to detail and were very warm and welcoming from the time we walked in to the time we left. Always having a smile on their faces and kind words for their customers. Again we will return.

Have been here several times even though it is at least 35 min. from home. The people are very nice, very willing to make alterations to the basic offerings. So far all of the food has been delicious – especially their soup.

Windmill Restaurant in Kokomo is a personal favorite of mine. It has a welcoming local vibe that keeps me coming back. The service is always friendly and makes the experience even better. The food consistently hits the spot (Hoosier breakfast), whether you’re there for breakfast or lunch. There is plenty of parking, which makes it convenient for anyone stopping by. Overall, it’s a solid go-to spot for a satisfying meal.

It’s an awesome place to eat. Let the music was so loud and my husband and I are both hard of hearing. We couldn’t hardly hear at all. Talking to our grown up children. The waitress did move us to a better spot. She was awesome. But could I make a suggestion to please turn that music way down? People don’t like it the way you think they do. A special older people and hard of hearing people. But I do love the place but I won’t go back until I know that that music’s either gone or very low. Thank you for asking my opinion

We love the Windmill Grill. Pretty much all the food is good but, in my humble opinion, if you want a really good breaded tenderloin sandwhich, this is the place to go. Most places season only the breading and even then its not noticeable after frying. At Windmill, they season the tenderloin (& its real) very well before breading it so you get flavor in every bite and all the way through the meat. The size is large so you must have a big appetite and its all meat. Yes, there is breading but its light…just perfect actually!
The staff are friendly and all are professional. If you’re looking for a quiet cozy place to eat this is not the place as they are always busy and its close quarters but you can always order ahead & pick your food up at the drive through and eat in your quiet, cozy home!

Last night was our family’s first time at Windmill Grill and everything was fantastic from start to finish. The food was very good and our server, Jennifer, went above & beyond! Very friendly & helpful. She was very attentive and suggested things for us to try. We never had to ask for refills because she had them right there. She was a 10/10!! Our family will definitely be back again.

In recent months I have been to the Grill several times. They have wonderful servers and hostesses. I love their omelets and their boneless wings breaded on site are wonderful. I ask them to hold the sauce on top of the meatloaf because it is too sweet for me, but In general dining in there never disappoints. The vibe of the place is cozy and it everything you want in a home town place.

That said they have a drive through option. I have used it twice and both times the food was bad. And of the visits after co firming my special requests they still got my order wrong.

So dine game amazing. Drive through…nah just dine in it is so much better.

Good food served in a great atmosphere. Definitely a lot of locals dinning here, so you know they are doing something right. I had the tenderloin which was seasoned really well and the tots we also great.

First time here and I have to say this might be one of kokomo’s best kept breakfast secrets. I had the biscuits and gravy and it was prepared to perfection tasted amazing! I also had a side of bacon which was also wonderful. Normally I don’t give a rating for drinks but the iced tea was also spot-on.

I’m definitely looking forward to coming back again in the future and trying some of their other entrees for lunch and dinner.

And I can’t wrap up this review without commenting on how great the service staff is. They were wonderful from start to finish, definitely an A+ experience for breakfast!
