I’ve noticed this place because there’s always line. I dont know why, we got 6 tacos total, 3 Dorado tacos the steak and pork was cold in all 3 tacos. The shrimp and fish tacos had a sauce that wasn’t good. I don’t know if it was an off day or just the normal, but I was totally unimpressed. Theres a better place just down the street, its like a dollar more per item but worth it Taqueria Las Palmas, better food and u get more food for what u pay for El Roys. The items at El Roy’s where so bad and so small I will never go back

They do a great job on with the shrimp burrito. The shrimp tacos and burritos are a specialty. They have an excellent selection of food and all of their food is made fresh. They can service large crowds fast. The staff does their best provided the circumstances and the high volume. If you need to eat there you are exposed to the elements because of the outdoor setting. However, they set it up very nicely and there is plenty of parking for everyone.

The prices of burritos are getting ridiculous guys. 8 dollars for a thin little weenie of a rice bean and cheese burrito are you kidding me, you really want me to believe that the cost of things have gotten so bad and continue to do so to the point that you cannot fill a rice bean and cheese burrito like places used to do just a few years ago. Had to try. Carnitas are dry, crusty and hard to chew and swallow. Lots of “attitude” given with any menu questions. No reason to make your customers feel like idiots. Why do that?
Perhaps for the same reason that there was absolutely no thought or consideration given to the placement of this truck next to a well loved and family owned La Palma only 200 feet away. Rude. No contest for me and many other neighbors. La Palma. Hands down.

Love El Roy’s! The staff is always friendly and the food is really good especially considering the affordability. They are open until 10pm at this location.
