The salad bar was greatness! The service was fast, kind & great. I ordered the 10oz ribeye steak, it was the perfect size perfectly made medium rare like I asked. The flavors were so tasty and it was so soft it melted in my mouth! The baked potato was loaded & delicious! The prime rib, was chewy no flavor. It was so tough my husband ate it anyway

I was served raw and cold Ribeye. I would guess it spent 10sec on the grill. Not edible. They took it off the bill and the server was very sweet about it. It was my first time there and it was my first meal after 6hrs of driving. I was very disappointed.

My office ordered lunch & three of us decided to get their Crispy Chicken Salad. First time they were picked up, we only got chicken & lettuce, literally! $16.95 for lettuce & a couple of stripes of hard chicken is ridiculous! The chicken looked like it had been refried multiple times. We went back so they could correct all 3 salads. When they came back again, they were all still wrong! When I called back, I asked if I could take them back & instead make a fresh salad from the salad bar, I normally love their salad bar & figured I can’t go wrong it I make it myself. Manager refused! He told me I would have to pay again! Then I asked for a refund since the chicken was inedible, he refused because they supposedly corrected the salads. I’m sorry, but what kind of establishment refuses to refund for inedible food! All I wanted was for them to make it right, no more, no less! So take my horrible experience as a warning, SAVE YOUR MONEY & GET YOU A SALAD FROM SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN THIS PLACE!

Food was good and there was a lot of it. With your meal you also get a salad or salad bar. Service was ok, we got seated quickly and staff was friendly but it took awhile to get our servers attention. Drinks were hard to refill but food was filling. I ordered the prime rib and mashed potatoes.

I’m a regular diner at Cattle Baron at the Roswell and El Paso locations. It’s my go-to place for prime rib! Tonight I brought guests to the Hobbs location and it was an unpleasant experience. One rack of ribs was good! Three prime ribs were not! 2 6-oz and 1 8-oz were identical in size and shape with the 8-oz differing in having a larger glob of fat attached. I’m a cattle rancher. At best I would say I received a slice of tough roast beef for dinner if it was graded Prime, you were cheated. No bread was served with the meal until requested 1/2 way through. Drink refills offered only after we had finished and waited for the check. No coffee refills at all. No dessert offered. Server hovered over my shoulder while I filled in the tip. Found where she had been hiding when leaving the building and saw her chatting at the reception desk with a bunch of friends.

Great service, giant margarita. Steak cooked as requested. The fifth star is lacking because the steak was just warm. Salad bar has lots of options, one or two soups, vanilla pudding and chocolate mousse.

The steak was good, the jumbo shrimp were not very big, but pricey. The asparagus was jumbo but only half was edible. The mashed potato serving was 1 exact scoop. The price is higher than most in the area. Waitress was nice. I was not overly satisfied, should have gone to roadhouse.
