2/19/26 after their reply to my review. I find choice of words interesting. Are there people who do not expect to be acknowledged within 10 minutes? Especially when not busy?
2/18/26 6:45pm waited 10 minutes. No acknowledge. It was not busy. Everyone’s glasses got filled around us and it was them serving patrons that arrived 5 minutes after us first that forced us to leave. Chili’s had us ordered in 10 minutes.

The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because the waitress was doing the best she could. My food was burnt and she had the manager come see me. She was just plain rude. Did not apologize or anything just said the best I can do is 15% off your bill take it or leave it. The worst experience i have ever had at an Applebee’s. Before I left another group had an issue and sh instantly started arguing with them.

I just had the Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp, and it’s a dish that delivers on flavor and comfort. The dish is served sizzling with sautéed mushrooms and onions. The garlic mashed potatoes are creamy and well-seasoned with a noticeable, but not overpowering, garlic flavor.

I eat at Applebee’s often. I Love their boneless riblets. But I tried their New Bourbon Street Chicken Andouille. It was superb. It is my new favorite dish. Our waitress Lillian was so kind and attentive. And for me to remember your name, you must be special. We will certainly be stopping by again the next time we’re in Manhattan Kansas.

The service was acting like they were packed to the gills when it was barely 5pm on a Tuesday. The tables were sticky, they got my order completely working (she ordered salmon, they brought out chicken), the noodles for my husbands dish were way over cooked, it took 15+ minutes just to get a bill and to go box for the corrected dish. The temperature in the building was way too high, I was sweating with my baby. The salmon was also way too salty once we received it.
The best part of the service was the alcohol says my husband.

The food ordering system crashed, which happens. However, the response to that is not to keep seating people without telling them that there is a considerable wait/backlog. We were sat before 8pm, served 15-20 minutes later, and received our food after 9pm. We even had to flag someone down to get them to run our check. Management needs to learn how to respond to situations like this. We kept seeing people say around us without being told the situation.
