Legendary Local Mexican Food Establishment: Great food and friendly staff. Actually a lot of seating so don’t let the packed parking lot scare you off. Nice patio for when the weather allows. Reasonably large menu with a variety of “upscale Mexican” dishes. Probably can’t go wrong with any choice. Various adult beverages and beers. Ask for Lucas to be your server. Recommended.

Really awesome little Mexican joint with an awesome outdoor deck area that overhangs an edge. Food was pretty good, the salsa and chips before food was phenomenal you could really taste the tomatoes in it.

My sister and I went to this nice and clean establishment today. The food was exceptional. We had the stuffed jalapeno wrapped in bacon as an appetizer. They were GOOD AND HOT. Just like I like it. For dinner I had Mama Blanco with charred beans and astrawberry margarita. My sister had the stacked enchilada and a original margarita. Our server was MICAH. OH MY GOD he was sweet, attentive and kind. Also well mannered. Truly a great experience. Will definitely go back.

First time dining here. Heard a lot about the food being great. Chips and salsa were spot on. Queso was the right amount of cheesy. Had Tamales with cheese sauce, the stacked enchilada. Recommend for the food options.
However the service was lackluster. It took a good 20 mins between our waitress getting our drinks to us, to then another 20 mins before getting our food ordered, food got forgotten, etc. Honestly the service could have been better, they were slow, a lot of empty tables so there was no reason for the long wait periods in between. Not a fan of low ratings, usually I don’t waste my time on it but this just wasn’t a pleasant experience at all. If we come back food will be to go only.

Food is fine. Place is fine. But you better have time to wait an hour between ordering and getting your food. I’ve only been there twice and both times it was well over an hour before getting our food, which with Mexican food is completely ridiculous.

The restaurant was packed. It’s a very popular restaurant. We ordered the creamy jalapeno sauce & queso. Loved the jalapeno one. Queso was bland. The fried avocado was delicious. Cheese enchiladas were too cheesy. Next time will try shrimp or chicken. The jalapeno margarita was good. Due to crowd, it was very loud. But friendly employees & service excellent by Clarissa.

Hate gushing but this joint is great! We got there early for lunch, most folks were seated out back. Looked like a great area to sit and eat. We sat inside due to the wind blowing.
Chips and salsa were brought to the table, which tasted great. I ordered some of their signature tacos with charro beans. Boss lady ordered the steak fajitas. Both meals were seasoned very well and tasted incredible. If y’all in town, stop and eat here!

Drinks were delicious, bartender was awesome! My steak fajitas came out with chicken instead but I still enjoyed them! Salsa was really good as well as drinks!

Now T. Blanco’s is an amazing restaurant. I think we have been here around 30 times, and we all agree that the drinks, food, and atmosphere are on point. This is our go-to Mexican spot around Lake Cherokee and always will be. Parking is very easily accessible even for on a Saturday. There is a nice patio area as well.
