Last Valentine’s we went to the Downtown Omaha location and it was so good that we decided to go back, but this time to the Regency location! Service here was incredibly speedy more so than their sister location. Maybe it’s recency bias, but the food here was phenomenal. Downtown was amazing this was spectacular. Pillowy and crispy dough, arancini were so flavorful, and that chutney with the burrata *chefs kiss* literally. Also love the Italian soda options! Great date night out did not disappoint.

A truly standout dining experience at Via Farina.

Our visit to Via Farina in Omaha was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we sat down, it was clear we were in for something special, but the food still managed to exceed every expectation.

The pizza was the star of the evening—perfectly blistered, beautifully balanced, and crafted with the kind of care you only get from a true wood‑fired oven. Knowing that their oven is similar to those in Italy made every bite feel even more authentic, and you can absolutely taste the difference in the crust and the char.

The wood‑roasted meatballs were another unforgettable highlight. Tender, richly seasoned, and served in a red sauce so sumptuous it practically demanded to be savored slowly. It’s the kind of dish that stops conversation for a moment because everyone is too busy enjoying it.

Altogether, it was an amazing food experience—warm, inviting, and crafted with genuine passion. Via Farina has earned a spot on our must‑return list, and we’re already looking forward to the next visit.

This restaurant is a delightful, relaxed but higher-end spot for great drinks and wonderful homemade Italian food. The Patata had such a wonderful tinge of truffle with the crisp that I will definitely get that again. The appetizers were hot and fresh. The pasta is rich and amazing – easy to tell it is homemade.

Good food. Bread comes out flavorful, hot, and fresh. Pasta and pizzas are great. Cauliflower salad was ok. Tomato soup was delicious.

Great meatballs and tiramisu! My partner and I agreed that the lasagna was missing some red sauce. It was pretty bland. Despite that, we both want to come back to try their other pasta options.

Great bit of high end Italian here in Omaha. Very original and competes well against many of my favorite restaurants in Italy. Great vibe, unique takes on classic dishes and nice service. Total win.

Visited on a Saturday right after they opened and the place was empty. We ordered and the food came out so fresh and so quick. I love sourdough and all their breads are made of sourdough. The porchetta was definitely a favorite (pork belly ciabatta sandwich) although the pasta dishes were good, too.

Amazing. The food had so many flavors and textures that were damn near perfect combinations it was mind boggling. From the meatball starter, the rigatoni, the carne pizza, to the Gelato for dessert – worth every penny.

Go if you haven’t been there. We’ll definitely be back to try more of their wonderfully simple menu.

We started the night being seated at a table with a cold breeze blowing harshly straight down on the table which was pushed up against a large cold glass window looking out into a cold parking lot and a baby a few feet away screaming blood curdling screams every thirty seconds. This was our Valentine’s Day dinner. We chose Via Farina because we generally appreciated the ambiance. Not a good start. Luckily when we asked for a different seat the host moved us to one of many open tables warning us that we had to eat fast and vacate that table because they had a reservation. The inference that we might be squatters was off-putting and not what we expect at this restaurant. The screamer finally left and the new table was cozy and the food was amazing as always. And we finished our meal in our normal 60 minutes which made everone happy I’m sure. We’ll chock it up to a stressed out host and hope we don’t see it at future visits.
